Congrats on submitting a cool game! I like the idea, general rules are simple to pick up, and a fun dynamic gameplay may emerge from it. Game lacks some polishing, visual cues, sound. First things that bothered me are how to move camera (not bottom of screen, but bottom of building, oof), what prices building are and what income a room gives, how to place it (I got it, but carrying it at center would be better), how much hits a room takes to destroy it, etc. It's imprtant to telegraph every action: room got hit - cue, fist is about to reload - cue, something destroyed (both my or enemy room) - cue, money spent or gathered - cue. That way a player doesn't get disappointed when they loose for seemingly no reason. I can see this game being more polished become a very fun chaotic clicker-manager played for hours and hours. Aside from that, idea is cool, visuals is solid and clear, great job! Good luck in your future works!

Very interesting! Now I know what my landlord is playing at

A bit slow at the beginning but really cool concept!

WOAH! The concept and AI are really well thought out. Love the fist gun

I really like the concept and it has some good potential for further development! I do wish it were easier to move the camera, and it can get tedious to fire the gloves when you start getting a bunch, especially when the opponent can fire all of theirs at once, but it's still a cool game. Good job!

Cool concept! Sadly encountered a few bugs when i started but else good job!

I like the flying hands!

Cool concept! Some sounds or visual cues about why you can't place buildings/rooms would be nice. Solid start!

Very buggy, first 5 page refreshes were just because screen froze or items got stuck in my hand Idea not that related to the theme, could use some better sfx and gameplay, the goal is a bit vague, the gameplay is a bit vague, the restrictions are a bit vague..

But it’s def an okay entry, the art is okay, and the idea is cool regardless of connection to the theme

I think it has potential, but currently it needs to be less buggy to be enjoyed <3

I have no idea whats going on but the art is really cute, would love to see an update with some instructuions :)

A little awkward to play, but an interesting idea! :3

I love the twist of tower defence. The input was a bit janky but hey its a game jam!

Nice concept.
Didn't really understand what to do. The room placement was a bit buggy and didn't show any restrictions.
With a bit more love the game will be awesome :)

The concept is cool but I had a hard time understanding what's going on. I had huge problems with placing rooms. I don't know if there are any restrictions or was that a bug. It also says that you have like 100000 money at the beggining which really confused me. It also says that you have won no matter what. I like the concept but I think that this game just neds more time.

It's kind of hard to understand what's going on but the concept is cool. Also I think I lost (had lower net worth than the rival company) but it still said I won.

Thank you for the feedback!

I managed to track this bug down actually! Thank you for letting us know! We hope to make the game's concepts a bit clearer in the future, but only time will tell if we do.

Thank you for checking us out! I hope your game jam went well!

Interesting concept

The game currently lacks player feedback, I have no idea when something takes damage, how much damage it took and how much it can still take.

Company value is also very opaque, I have no idea what it is based on.

Placing rooms feels janky, especially when placing the boxing glove rooms.

This could definitely be a cool little game if it had some more time to work out some of the problems.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

I agree that the game is confusing, and we can definitely communicate the rules of the game better. The room's condition, what they do, etc. are all things that we might work on in the future.

How net worth works is also something we want to make clearer to the player down the line. But basically, it's how much money you have + the cost of all the rooms you have in the building.

Thank you for checking us out! I hope your game jam went well!

Too bugged out to play unfortunately. Seemed like an interesting premise though! I would love to see (and hear) a more finalized version of this idea in the future.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

Apologies that there were lots of problems during play! There's definitely a lot I'd like to fix and touch up, but time will tell if we can flesh out the game and idea to meet our expectations.

Thank you for checking us out! I hope your game jam went well!

Hey, loved the idea with this one, the product itself has some scratches and dents to air out, but don't let that discourage you! You have neat base here that could definitely become a neat two player game or something with friends. I enjoyed this game for what it was, and hope that you will continue making games in the future

thanks for the experience

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

We had a lot of fun brainstorming what it could be, even if it fell short of our ideas. Something like a two-player mode would've been super fun!

Thank you for the kind words, hearing that you enjoyed it is what we strive for! Time will tell if we can flesh out the idea more!

Thank you for checking us out! I hope your game jam went well!

The first round I played bugged out and I wasn't able to place any blocks but on the second time it was fine. The game fits the theme really well and I think there's a really cool game being made here, even if right now it's a little bare

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback!

Block placement being buggy and confusing is definitely something we need to improve! We had a lot of ideas that had to get scrapped, and we're happy that at least some of them shined through for you!

Thank you for checking us out! I hope your game jam went well!

Yeah I really struggled with what I  was supposed to do. Adding some info in the description could help out. Other than that I think its a super cool idea. Im sorry I could not figure it out.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback!

I've updated the description so hopefully new players can make better sense of what's going on! Making sure the player understands what's going on is definitely going to be a bigger priority for me going forward!

Thank you for checking us out! I hope your game jam went well!
