Great game! the graphics are nice, the music slaps and I also really like the leaderboard system which adds a lot of replayability. The theme implementation is unclear in my opinion which is the only thing hurts the score a bit. The mechanics are clearly explained and easy to understand though, which is rare in a game jam, so great job!
Thanks for playing!! The theme is in 2 parts, the first is the broad one (build a farm to scale points, booooring) and then the second more specific one (building your farm strategically helps make combos that grow/scale your points)

Really cool! Felt so rewarding to get a good chain going. Got a little confused and placed a tonne of carrots without realising they gave no points but it was rewarding in the end haha
The selection could sometimes be a little buggy, didnt feel that responsive to choose which crop you would place.
Unfortunately did not make the top 10 leaderboard :( But love a leaderboard in a game :)

Nice idea for a game! Some of the controls could be improved, sometimes pressing down to select the crop didn't respond, maybe having select as the space bar instead would be better? and the dropdown on the right could just be visible at all times as there's room for it without it getting in the way. Great concept though
Thank you so much for the feedback! Yeah the idea behind making the controls DownArrow to submit something is just to keep the players hand in one spot, but maybe space bar is more intuitive!
This game is awesome! Really polished, amazing style and great interpretation of the theme. Really satisfying to play too! If you wanted to expand this you could add a setting to change the farm size, but that's just a suggestion.
