Oh this is in the 48 hours catagory? Nice

Nice entry, I like the music, I like the visuals, the slime and slimeballs look cute, I like that the camera scales too, It looks much prettier than the games that don’t.

There are some bugs, I phased through the floors a couple times, got stuck in walls other times, but all to be expected from a 48 hours game, luckily there was a restart button.

Emphasize the limited amount of scaling more! Not all people will notice it immediately, the color blends with the screen and it’s not mentioned anywhere

Goodjob! I wanted to go for a similar idea but decided to change last minute, so it makes me happy knowing I would have sucked at it in comparison- you should try the final one fr though (;

Developer

Thank you :D! Gonna try to fix some bugs after the game jam ends & polish up the tutorial a bit, so realy thanks for this comment :D

Nice game, some clever puzzles and interesting use of scaling mechanic. One bug I encountered is if I hold mouse button down to scale down, I'm unable to scale back up, other than that, very nice, congrats on finihing the game!

Developer

Thanks :D

Congrats on finishing the game as best as you could! Fantastic presentation, and the game is completable. I almost gave up on the game at the first level, as the reset function didn't work and I hadn't figures out that you had limited shrinking power. The idea of scaling the camera with the slime works well to emphasize the change in scale, but being small and not being able to see the level is frustrating as you can't afford to change your size to check.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm currently fixing all the bugs and tweaking the game, so it's realy nice to get feedback :D

Very good game worth a shout out, also finish the game to the end because it could be big👍

Really tidy application of the theme! The scaling mechanic was well implemented

Thanks :D

It's the kind of game you expect from the jam theme, but it does it really well. I actually really like the hand-drawn style. Breaking the platform by accident was kinda cool, though I imagine there was more planned for it that wasn't possible due to the time limit.

The only real issue I had was that the camera felt a little too zoomed in at the smaller scales, but that was literally it. The rest of the game is really solidly built.

Developer

Yes, you guessed it, actually there was more planned, like more levels etc. But glad you liked it! :D

Cute slime! The idea fits very well for the theme!

Nice game! The scaling mechanic is fun, and I really loved the artwork. Great job!

Really cute ! The platforming mechanics with both the weight/size and the wind are really nice ! I got myself soft-locking in the first level (shrunk too much) and I reloaded the entire page but "R" actually reset the level (a really nice touch by the way but I'm not sure it's said in game).

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you for playing :D, and thanks for the feedback about the "R" button, it's not said in the game that you can restart, so I probably will add this to the tutorial. Thanks for mentioning it :)

i really love this platformer! However scaling the camera with the player might not be the best choice cause he cant see where he is going.

Great work!

Cool platformer :D I like how you integrated the scaling of the slime into the gameplay. Especially when i broke the platform because i scaled myself too much i had to laugh. :D Also i wanna adobt the slime, its so cute.

Great submission, feels a little bit like Allice in wonderland slime edition. The tutorials/hits were very well placed.
The only thing i would suggest is adding some easing on the camera  to enhance the whole experience. Well Done

Developer

Thanks! Will probably work on the project after the game jam ends, so thanks for the camera suggestion! :)

Such a cute little blob!We love the art style and the music. Awesome take on the theme! The blob's movement felt a bit fast and took some getting used to, but overall, it’s an awesome entry!

Thanks! :)

cool concept but i also got stuck on the first wind cause i didnt have enough slime

Submitted(+1)

Nice player control, and great light work ! It would help if you could explain the slime bar at the same time as the shrink/expend mechanic cause i got stuck on the first wind wall cause i used up all my power on shrinking and I couldn't understand why i cannot grow up !

Also could you change the color or the sprite of the box that you can push and the one that you don't.

Anyway Great Game tho :)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback :) I will look into the tutorial a bit, and the different box sprites was a good idea!

Nice! Realy like how the camera behaves when you scale, realy well done!

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks! I spent a bit of time making the camera behaviour, but I didin't realize that anyone would notice :)
