How does your game fit the theme?
It features a dynamic where players can change the size of objects. The key mechanic allows players to alter the scale of the character, but as a consequence, the selected object scales in the opposite direction. By using this scale-shifting mechanic, players can solve puzzles and progress through different levels.

How could I not comment on the aesthetic. Beautiful. The gameplay took me a second but once I learned what to do and what meant what I was cruising. Love the levels trying to figure out how to progress and what I can and cannot climb. I would love to play more. Amazing job!
Thank you so much for your comment :) Maybe the game should have had a small introduction to help players understand a bit better ahahaha. Our original idea was for players to figure out the controls on their own and feel a bit alone in the unfamiliar environment :)
Lovely aesthetic, it felt really lonely! Echoing what others said I think a tutorial would be great. Always a pleasure to see more melancholic games in a jam.
Yesss that was the idea we wanted to follow! A tutorial would have been important from the start, as our idea of having the player discover things on their own didn’t work out very well ahahah. We’ve now made a video to try to make up for it and help those who are still having difficulties understanding the game mechanics. Thank you so much for your comment :)
Cool mechanic. The way the eyes move on the monster at the start is creepy :D
Thank you croissant :)))
The aesthetic was executed very well! I think a tutorial at the start would have helped, but otherwise it was a fun game!
Thanks for the comment. Yeah, you're right. Our idea of having the player discover the controls on their own didn’t work very well, and combined with a lack of time, we couldn’t implement it properly. Now, since many said they felt lost with the controls, we made a video explaining them to try to help a bit ahahah :)
The dark, moody visuals were spot-on, enhancing the overall experience. It's a well-crafted and engaging game that I thoroughly enjoyed — great job!
Thank you so much for your comment :))))
I could not pass the first level! But I really wanted to see other levels of the game.
Ohh sorry about that :( We know that many have been struggling with the controls and mechanics, so to help with this, we’ve made a video explaining. :) Even so, sometimes things don’t work very well in the game ahahah, especially at the corners of the boxes :(
I'm just trying to say what I think so I can help you. Otherwise, the game was really good. I hope to see more games from you.
such an amazing style !! fun levels, had a great time playing :D
Thank you so much SpiltMilk :)
Love the art style with the moody atmoshphere and great puzzles too nice job , might need a tutorial to teach the player how to play at first cause it's kinda tricky in the begining (i didn't know what to do for about 5 minutes )
Thank you for your comment, Nano! Yeah initially it was meant for the player to discover the controls on their own, and also mixed with a lack of time ahaha and then It didn't turn out the way we wanted. We’ve now made a tutorial video explaining the controls and mechanics of the game, since it’s an issue many have pointed out :) thank you
Time to SPEED RUN! The artstyle is also amazing, gives me a creepy aeshteic! Great game, keep it up!
I would like if people really speedrunned the game ahahahah Thank you for your comment, I'm glad you liked the game
Love the handrawn style! It reminds me of games like Neverending Nightmares. The atmosphere, music, and puzzles are all done so well. Great work!
Thank you for your comment Devics! I've never heard anything about Neverending Nightmares, but I will agree with you, it's somehow similar.
Climbing is bit tricky. The art style and originality are top-notch.
Thank you so much, feels really good to read that! About climbing, you're right, it's sometimes a challenge to climb the walls ahaha
Dont know what to do at first. But really good art here! This has greatly inspired me.
Thanks for your comment! As for the game, after selecting the box, you basically need to select one of the options that appear on the buttons. This will either increase or decrease the player’s size, and the box will do the opposite. After that, you just need to get through the levels using this mechanic (you can also climb walls that aren't red after jumping by pressing the 'W' key to go up) :)
Looks wonderful and cool concept. As i got used to the controls it was pretty fun, and lots of content too :)
Thank you! I'm glad you liked the game!
Cool game! Really like the eerie style, and the main mechanic works well. Nice one!
Thank you for playing the game and for the review!
Really good handrawn art style and atmosphere. Nice game!
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Composer from "Crescendo" here! Wow, the artwork was really well done, and I absolutely love it! The dark and eerie imagery + music really made the game have a personality. I enjoyed solving the puzzles and really enjoyed the game design for each level. I could easily see this being a full release post jam! Definitely an underrated game in my opinion!
Thank you for your kind review! I'm really happy you had the experience we wanted people to have :)
Thank you so much for the comment! I'm really glad you enjoyed the game and the artwork. Your feedback means a lot! I actually really enjoyed playing Crescendo. It is probably one of the best and most original games I've played in this jam so far.
Wow! Whoever worked on the art for your game did an incredible job! It's not exactly the same, but the use of scribbles and overall creepiness reminds of OMORI. I really enjoyed playing through it!
Thank you for the kind comment DJfox :) Yeah, OMORI was definitely one of the inspirations for the art!
Thank you for playing the game and for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game! OMORI definitely gives the same vibes of our game :D
the concept of being able to scale yourself up/down alongside the boxes is pretty smart ngl
Thank you for playing the game! The idea popped out of nowhere, but we loved it at the first sight. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
whats the story behind the name? I love the visuals!
Thank you for playing the game, I'm glad you liked it! You have to find the story of the game for yourself, trying to understand and connect the things! About the name, it's just the combination between kanjis for "Danger" and "Person".
The puzzles were pretty fun. I love the hand drawn artstyle and the atmosphere felt great.
Thank you for playing and for your feedback :)
