…Mate, we had the same experience and idea. But you have the better game sadly and I’ve got to admit that the art, music and game juice is just enough for it to be a top contender!
Good music! Good graphics! My critiques are: lack of depth sorting on the dice, screenshake is way too obnoxious, enemies don't really have any AI. Though that is definitely excusable for a game jam entry
Great game, and that backing track is so hectic; I love it!!
I really like the visuals and sounds of the game. I just think it would feel better if the camera shake was less intense while shooting with a pistol. It doesn't feel that weird while shooting with other guns but I felt something was wrong with the pistol. Overall, it was fun.

Absolutely adore the pixel art in this game. The gameplay is satisfying with some nice juicy sound effects and visual effects. As well as a fun variety of weapons.
Well made bullet hell game, was really fun! The music slaps too, and I like the dual-meaning of "die." Good stuff!

Love how the rolling and weapon mechanics are combined, the machinegun was a bit overpowered tho
Thank you for including ways to turn off music and camera shake, that gets bonus points.
Took a couple deaths to truly figure out how the core loop was meant to be played, and I feel the amount of enemies ramps up quite quickly. One second I was figuring out the controls and the next I get wombod by 3 enemies shooting me off screen.
Gameplay felt solid though, good art, sound effects were a nice touch, and the implementation of dodging / being hit rolling to a random weapon nicely fit the theme.
Good job.

Very fun, though the camera shake on recoil can get a bit disorienting.
Wow, that was so much fun! Combining dodging bullets with rerolling your weapon was genius, it makes it a risk / reward decision :) Great stuff!
A nice game! Quite polished, the option for camera shake for instance was appreciated. Loved the style too, even if it was simple :)
Cool game! The visuals and the sound design are very good. I found the screen shake a bit annoying but I guess it contributes to the "chaothic" nature of the game. Good job!
