This was a pretty fun game! I liked the hand-drawn aesthetic and the crisp sound effects. I also enjoyed how you allowed the player to make strategic decisions between two dice rather than railroading them via one dice so that they could have some measure of agency over RNGesus.

A very cute game. I love the hand-drawn art style used. Seems like a riff on the whole "dots and boxes" game, which works out pretty well. It wasn't clear to me at first that all the lines you draw in a turn are from the same point, which does change the strategy quite a bit, but once I realized that it worked out. I had fun playing against the bot. I just wish I had another person to try the game out with.

This is an awesome game. In the sea of action and puzzle games, this really stands out. Great work on the design!

That was awesome! I did a 2 player game as well but I didn't get a chance to implement AI, so I'm glad you did! I had some difficulty with picking the tiles from time to time, and there were times where I'd place a die down and it'd already start coloring when I didn't pick a line yet, but other than that really well done!

If you wanted to expand the idea (which you don't really but just in case), maybe special tiles on the board with different effects when colored or maybe alternative modes where the objective is different but the gameplay is the same (say maybe color the most of a map, but you have a limited area you have to grow by painting and you can block other lines with your own, kinda like a chinese checkers but with dice). Again it doesn't really need anything, just some thoughts if you wanted to expand the concept more.

Kind of like dice Go which is pretty neat. Took me a little bit to realize what was going on but it was pretty fun after that. Wish I had someone else to play with though...

Fun game! The rules took a moment to click but after they did the game was a lot of fun! The AI on single player seemed to just randomly place dice across the map. It's always a challenge to include a 1 player mode in a 2 player game for a jam and I'm glad it was included! I love how the dice isn't just 'pick big number to win', each dice has it's own advantages and disadvantages. That's a really hard thing to pull of in a game!

This game was so fun to play! The art, music, gameplay, and how you brought the theme in were really nice.

Very cute game.

Interesting mechanic of how the dice effect the territory you can color in. And that you roll dice and get to choose one is nice so RNG can't hit you too hard.

AI is kind of dumb but that's whatever for a game jam. I wish I had some friends over locally so I could play it with them.

Good Job~

I'm also impressed you got two different gorillas to design this. You got to tell me how you got them to collab sometime.

It's easy we just offer them bananas

This was really cool, always impressed by a game jam with any AI that actually works. Very cool concept and great art.

This is a very simple and yet incredibly fun concept and I can't stress enough how much I adore this artstyle. You created a very good game!

Love the art and music! It gives me a feeling of childhood when we played these types of paper games at launch during school. Need to grab die by click on it is confusing. Wish you luck, nice job!

Fun game! Would love to play it with pen and paper soon :)

You had me with the title haha :D.

The idea is really great, 5/5 creativity for sure!

I also loved the art, really, like the others, i'd be so glad to have a friend to play the game with :D.

When multiplayer? haha

This is very nice. I just wish I had someone to play it with.

Really cool game! Almost seems like you could play it with pen and paper, which I think is really neat (only changing colors of squares might be a bit annoying).

Two minor nitpicks:
1. It's a bit misleading that the dice symbol hovers above the cursor, as both my girlfriend and me clicked the wrong tile at least once.
2. I'd like to be able to see the full map when selecting the dice.

I also didn't quite get the rules right after reading them, but playing helps. This is fun! I could see this becoming a game for bored children (both young and old) on long train rides.

We appreciate the feedback! And that is a good point about the dice blocking the map during selection, I'll make a note that it might be better to move them to the side of the screen, rather than the center
