Controls feel weird and I believe enemies not doing any damage. Its nice we are playing in a tv it adds to the feel.

Solid game! Rotating towards the enemies was a little annoying in my opinion, it would've be nice if you could rotate in 2 different directions. The style was very good and I like the concept!

Hah I like the song, I like the slightly "clunky" controls, adds to the vibe. The randomness of difficulty etc plays well with the theme of the Jam! Well done my man! ;)

Fun game and I love the tv effect!

A very cool-looking game I really like the aesthetic. The controls were a bit challenging maybe having the player point towards the mouse would be a bit easier. Love the art and sounds though. Nice work!

Interesting game, the TV effect is cool!

I love the crt monitor aesthetic, I think the game would be more fun if you could turn around using the mouse instead of holding down space. Also, I don't know if it's a bug I found but some upgrades didn't disappear and I could get them repeatedly.

Good visuals, but the game is a bit glitchy tho. Still it's nice work, well done!

I think the glitchiness was his point. In that light I think it works a bit better.

Yes true haha

Why oh why did you choose to bind the rotation to space? It made the game feel way too clunky for me. Otherwise the main idea is nice and the presentation is good. Good job!

It is a good game inside, but the movement was too slow, and R didn't work. I hope you improve next time :)

Ill say this, the games idea is cute, however i found the rotation kind of annoying to control and manage. Cool monitor effect too i just wish it zoomed out a bit more

I made 78hs nice monitor effect, and also retro concept fit well with sound effects. nice work buddy :D

Thats a good arena fighting game with random stuffs  It feels different after each upgrade/powerup Nice work ^^

You should make the player rotate towards the mouse, or make him rotate in 2 directions, because rotating the player for more than 180 degrees was very tedious.

The effects are pretty cool, but you might want to tone them down a bit.

Punishing the player for getting the powerup (the minus - health) is not really good, because the player went out of their way to get the powerup before it despawns just to get punished, which is frustrating.

No music :(

Respectable submission.

The tv look gives the game a unique feel

Submitted(+1)

It's weird that you can only spin in one direction.

I loved the TV look, I think it really added to the old-school vibe of this game! I think rotating both ways would definitely add to how the action feels, maybe even have the rotation follow the mouse cursor? The FX was really satisfying, felt good and crunchy and still fit the more retro vibe. Great work!

I really liked the visuals of the game, props there :) The gameplay was cool and felt nice :)

Some constructive criticism:

- Ability to rotate clockwise as well

- More punishing enemies (player only takes damage, after getting "hugged" by an enemy for a longer time)

- More enemies (shooting enemies which stay in distance to the player for example)

But overall a great game!
