I love it. Very chill and the visuals are nice: the pink highlighting makes it easy to see all your possible moves. It uses the theme in an unexpected and clever way.
Very creative take on the theme. Loved that it was made in Pico-8 too! Played at https://www.twitch.tv/hedgein <3
Pretty interesting idea! It is quite when there are many bombs and can't fold them all but that was fun, well done!
What a great and creative idea! The presentation was fantastic, and something about the concept was really engaging to me even though I had a really hard time conceptuallising the possible dice shapes. Did you consider other kinds of movement restrictions at any point?
Thanks for playing! I wanted to use the idea of folding a dice as a central mechanic, so I definitely prioritized keeping that in. I was a little unhappy with how the animations for that turned out -- if I keep working on the game, I might port to a stronger engine so I can represent the folding animations a little better and maybe show the other sides of the dice.
I also think I overestimated the amount of experience people have with nets of cubes, so I wish I had included a brief explanation of what it means to "fold" a dice. Although this may also have been helped by having more accurate visuals.
One of the most unique and clever forms of a match game I played, great job!
Great visual, Good idea. Rolling in a pattern / shapes way kinda feels restricted to the perfect answer like literally going in a straight line but I guess it won't be a dice and the blender animation feel a bit slow for this kind of game, but Over all a Good game NICE!
Blender animation can be skipped with Z! Thanks for playing :)
Nice!
Great little game. I like how you roll for the scoring fruit- perfectly on theme. It seems like you have to roll the dice into patterns that can actually fold into cubes? If so, I bet tracking that is a nifty bit of code. I can't break the 30 point ceiling, and I love the pico-8.
Another pico-8 game! Finding these makes me so happy.
This might be the best looking pico-8 game I've ever seen. It was so colorful and fun to look at I almost thought it was just pixel art in unity or something. The game was really cool too. Amazing job :)
That's so kind, thank you! All credit goes to my brother for the art, although I did make the random cloud generation :-)
Clouds in pico-8 are hard >:( so still nice job
Cool concept! Presentation was great :)
Pretty cute! I liked the concept, but it just doesnt feel like I made a "dice" with the fruits I gathered, maybe a little animation of them becoming a dice would add to the presentation. Also the pace feels a little draggy, but overall it's pretty creative and interesting! Congrats for the submission!
Nice experience.
My brain had a hard time understanding this but this yes
Not quite sure i entirely get it but interesting all the same
It's a well executed game. And a very original and fun idea. I enjoyed it!
I really enjoyed this one! It's a very unique idea for a falling block puzzle game and uses the dice theme really well.
Great game! Absolutely love the presentation!
Cool game, unique use of the theme from what I have seen so far!
The art, sound, and the general aesthetic are so good for this. Super creative concept too!
Thank you!
*Really* like this one!
Trying to visualize the incomplete net as you fold it up is incredibly tricky but fun to puzzle through! Maybe I would have liked a net diagram of what you've picked up so far on the right instead of the line of things, but overall I enjoyed myself!
I love the aesthetic of it and it sounds very chill too.
(Plus I'm always happy to see someone else working in Pico-8!)
Fantastic work!
Thank you so much! The net diagram was definitely considered, but I decided it would be a little too cramped. If I keep working on it, I'll probably find a way to make it work.
