This is nice game but it needs a lot of polishing. For instance i had an axe and pickaxe a few times but i got machete/sword once and couldn't make it in time and in this case you need to wait before you can have a chance to get it. Also it lacks sound effects and not blurry tutorial. Though, movements and graphics feel pretty good. Good job!
nice take of the theme, its my first time playing a resource gathering game in the jam. aside form the player moving at mach 10 , this is a solid game overal

Nice game and idea! Liked it.
I got stuck in the trees when changed screen in front of them.
I liked playing your game. The music is very load. Movement could be more precise. Nice game!
Audio was quite loud. Font was quite hard to read. Controls were really jumpy/too quick. A tap of W and I was offscreen top. The idea behind rolling for which weapon/tool shows up was creative and a fun quirk for sure though.
Not a bad game, although a bit confusing.
The text at the beginning with the instructions is way too hard to read, beacause of both the color and the size, so I spent my first run just collecting stuff without really understanding what I had to do with it... :/
After I managed to read it (using a screenshot and contrasting it), it became a better experience, now I had a goal and instructions on how to reach it. It's a bit repetitive after a while, but for a small experience, it's not bad at all! It only lacks a counter to know how much material we're missing, because I couldn't remember what was required since it's only said once at the very beginning.
I sometimes got stuck inside the trees, but that's the only bug I encountered.
Still, nice job! ^^
Audio is a bit loud and I couldn't really read the text. Its a nice submission once you get it
Very hard to read the text, in the end I got stuck between two scenes and trees and couldn't free myself anymore. But I think the gameplay was quite creative
The music is repetitive and is annoying after the 10th loop, the gameplay is nice and having to adapt to the tool you get is an interesting take on the concept
Instructions were really hard to read, got much more interesting once I got them.
Funky music! Hard to read the text at the start but I like the concept. :)
The theme use was interesting.
However the text wasn't readable and I assume my monitor's higher refresh rate made the player and enemies zip around the map incredibly fast.
If this was intended you may want to have made the speed more dynamic so it's easer to control.
The game was ok. I liked the use of the theme. Many of the things in the game are too small and/or fast.
I was unable to read the text in the beginning, and honestly everything is just a bit too small and oddly fast paced.
Neat use of theme. Was a little confused in the beginning but got the hang of it. Good job.
Thanks for the comment, bro
Good luck to you with your game too!!
Thanks
The game was fun but hard, is there a way to kill enemies when you dont have a sword?
Yes, the sword kills in one hit, but the axe kills in 2, and picaxe in 3 or 4, I don't remeber exactly
But yes, the game is hard, only until you know the tricks, like the irons position and good carcasses farming locals
yeah, difficult but fun, thanks!
You are welcome!!!! Thanks for playing the game and commenting!!!
For me the text in the room was very hard to read so I was a bit overwhelmed and confused in the beginning
Thanks for the comment. Yes, it's. I didn't get time to find a good font for the low resolution of the game, so it's confusing. Thanks again for the comment, next time I will try to do it better.
Looks like this Game has problems with my Browser (Firefox on Manjaro) as i can't get into the gameplay. I click on the "Play"-Text and the music starts playing but nothing else happens
I don't know which Engine you used but at least Godot, Unity and Pico-8 Games worked so maybe this is a issue multiple people might have
I used js, and I think you browser probably has some politic with canvas images or don't support it. I don't find it on no other pc I executed the game.
Wait, I didn't saw the video when I replied, I think it's a different api for mouse events that I didn't prepared my game for, sorry for the inconvinience, I will try to get it right in the next time.
The game is good. the premise is confusing at first but makes sense after the first few rounds. very interesting but while playing i am unsure of any goal. The game is buggy also, at one point i attempted to move inbetween rooms and got stuck inside a tree. the music is fine while playing but since there is now way to turn the music off or pause the game it is often quite jarring and loud. when you try to switch tabs.
Thanks for the comment, I tried to put all the instructions on the first room, but I think it was clear just for me. It's the first big jam I try, so I think it's going to be more for gain experience. Thanks again for the tips.
The goal is written on the start, get 50 woods, 5 carcasses and 15 irons, to fix the boat and leave the island. But I understand your difficulty
i guess i just didn't see it, maybe for a future update after the jam it might be good to add a /50 to the text boxes to indicate your progress,
its was a VERY good submission though, i loved playing it for the time that i did.
