A fellow arcadey high-score game! It's definitely one of the more unique and creative takes, reminds me of original Mario Bros. a bit. I had a lot of fun trying to keep the combo going and to get better at it each replay. I only wish the stage was a bit bigger with more enemies (maybe by making the roll determine a multiplier to amount of enemies instead of just amount), so you could really ramp up those combos. But even in the current state, it's an enjoyable experience.

How does your game fit the theme?
You are a dice, and everytime you jump you "roll the dice". When you land on the ground or and enemy the result of the roll will give points and decide the amount of enemies on screen

really good sound design and concept! I wish the character was a little snappier to control in the air, because when a bunch of snails disappear sometimes you can lose the combo because the remaining snails are too far away. the little blue slashes on rolls are cool and the visual design is awesome too! good luck with the jam <3
Really enjoyed this. It's nice to see a simple concept executed so well.
Loved the super crunchy visuals and audio on impact with enemies
Great stuff here :D
The character is very cute and the game is fun. I played for a bit and got quite a big score I believe (since I don't have what to refer it to I am not sure how good the score was). The character is a bit hard to control midair and sometimes it won't jump at all, it needs a bit of tuning for sure.
I love the art style of this game. The music is nice too, although it would benefit from being less repetitive. The concept behind the game is interesting and enticing, although it was explained rather confusingly for me - I didn't quite understand how my number influenced if I was going to lose a life or not when I attacked an enemy. Of course, take this with a grain of salt as it's very warm and I've been reviewing games all day, so my brain is a little fried. Overall, well done on this!
This is a really awesome and well-polished game!
However, I think it would give more control to the player if rolling only spawns enemies instead of despawning them. This would keep an enemy from disappearing that you needed to continue your combo. Then, perhaps you could make it so that each spiked enemy has a combo requirement where if the player reaches a high enough combo they will disappear.
The highest score I could get was a 1920. Great entry!
Great game!
However I think the player movement could possibly have been a bit snappier maybe try using less drag on the player rigid body (I'm assuming that that the player movement was using the physics system)? and possibly also a square collider. This would give the player better control and maybe make getting ridiculous combos more satisfying.
All round great arcadey fun!
Vow. I just played your game and went back to the super mario era. Great work. :)
Took a minute to get used to it but once I did it was fun. Really satisfying going for combos. Great work!
Oh this is clever. I could see myself getting addicted to this gameplay and trying over and over again to get a higher score. Great visual and audio feedback stomping on enemies. Just super fun all around!
The sound design is on another level... I had so much fun making combos, super satisfying!
great art, Amazing game!
The game quite fun! I like the streaks that you can get since they're so satisfying.
My one criticism is that the parallax in the background feels quite strong.
I like it! I love the graphics and crunchy sound effects. I wish the music loop was a bit longer, it sounds cool but repeats a bit fast. It's fun trying for combos!
