Liked it! however, I have some feedback. The hitbox on the player doesn't feel like it's the right size. I think i got hit multiple times when the bullet didn't clearly hit me.
I feel like speeding up the rolling in the beginning would absolutely be to the benefit of the game, and also have some sort of log of all active modifiers would be cool!
Great work! :D
But buggy though
This is a masterpiece
Art looks very good and the Gameplay is fun.
The art style, presentation, and gameplay were all really good. Great game, overall!
Amazing work! Although the fight looks simple at hindsight, It does feels quite fun and satisfying because of the art and sound. It stills feels weird to me that the people watching are cheering on you after you just massacre 12 of their people.
Juicy combat! I got through I think nine levels before dying. I would love to see the dice rolled at the start of each level affect my decisionmaking in combat. Great work!
Great work with the art for this game. I really liked the style. Also the game play is great, it feels good to control, hit feedback is responsive and the random modifiers really make it interesting.
Very fun and cool idea! One feature I would like is to be able to see all buffs/debuffs applied to both players and enemies. Art and gameplay felt really polished, great entry!
Smooth gameplay and fantastic graphics. Loved it!
Superbly polished game, it was good fun dicing the enemies! It's not just spamming the attack button, takes some patience and planning! the random dice effects of every level certainly adds variety, I was down to 2 stamina at one point, plenty of circling the enemies and trying to hit multiple in one slash! Love the pixel art, and retro music! Good job on a game well made! :D
That was fun ! really like the 2D art and flip animation, it was simple but very effective.
The addition of the stamina bar is a nice touch and adds a lot of depth to the fights.
(also have encountered a bug on where I am facing 0 enemies in a round, lucky me :D)
Congrats on completing the jam !
Love the art style, everything looks really polished! I would love to see more diversity in the game, like different enemies, arenas, weapons etc. The randomness part feels really natural, like it a lot. Had a lot of fun playing, would love to see future updates, great work! :)
Lovely to see how you can make dice look so cute. Love the animations and gameplay. :)
Just a few ideas: Would be nice to add a shop where you can buy upgrades yourself after a few rounds because I didn't have the feeling I got any stronger. It also gets a little tedious to click on the 3 buff icons every round. Maybe roll them simultaneously when you press spacebar?
Sadly I died too soon to fight the 3 - 6 diced enemies.
Great game overall! :)
A great, fast paced action game that is a lot of fun and bursting with juice! Really enjoyed the random buffs and debuffs, and how they added variety to each 'run'. I wasn't very good at it, but had fun regardless :)
Like the idea of the pwer up/down mechanic, but kind of repetitive since the game reuses the same type of ennemy like 50 times.
When I win, I sort of gives the gladiator a seizure by moving the mouse super rapidly at different locations.
Really nice game! I wish that the weapon was a bit longer ranged though.
Thank you for playing <3
Very well done! Good controls, great graphics, fitting music.
I instinctively try to avoid the red HP pickups (because red is the color of enemy shots), so maybe change colors a bit.
The idea is good, so if you improve this further it would be cool with some bigger changes from the dice, not just percentage buffs. Maybe different weapons, elemental attacks, enemies now explode when they die, critical hits, stuff like that. Add some long-term progression, and you have a great game! :)
Thank you for playing my game! Those ideas that you mentioned are amazing and would definitely add that on my game when the jam is over.
Also a rating would be appreciated if you haven't already. Thank you so much <3
Great job with the look and feel of the game, including the enemies in with the dice roll effects was a good idea, well done!
Thank you so much!
Really nice game!
Thanks!!!
