A very high level of polish along with nice visuals and sounds. It all works well together and its great that you start introducing new mechanics like stone blocks ice blocks and walls to keep it varied. A very nice submission!
This is a fun, really polished take on the dice rolling puzzle theme! The puzzels are challenging and engaging and the dice switching mechancis are fun
+ tutorial
Really polished !
The puzzles are challenging without being frustrating. The tutorial is realy helpfull without being too long or full of text and the whole ambiance is very chill & relaxing.
Great work :)
The tutorial was really nice and the game was quite complete for a 48-hour jam. Great game! :)
Wow, this game is super clever! Probably one of the best of this type of game that I've played this jam! The controls are smooth and responsive, and the puzzles are a balanced level of difficulty. I also really liked the relaxing atmosphere the music and sound effects make, and the look of the game is very pleasing as well. Overall the game feels very polished. Well done!
Very crisp tutorial. Plays smoothly, expected it to be more frustrating, but the responsive controls make it quite relaxing. Great game.
Looks really polished but is slightly buggy. The dice highlight can sometimes stay in between loading a new level. You use a very popular movement system but have a very creative main mechanic. I also really like the diagram showing the directions of wasd movement it was my main problem with other games with similar controlls.
I'm surprised by how complete this game was, the tutorial, and the number of levels. and the survival mode was smart.
Really high quality work :) Probably the best side based puzzle I've seen yet!
This has a lot of potential and is really fun, however I had a super annoying bug where whenever I moved a die, it rotated a bit off the "snap", so after a while there was no way to know which way the die actually pointed (see picture below).
Still, had fun in the bit I played, good job! :)
eekk, I've heard other people have occasionally it this bug. I've not been able to reproduce it consistently though - can you remember how you got it to happen?
Not really, it started after a few stages in the tutorial and stuck around after that, even after I refreshed the game... Sorry I can't be more helpful in reproducing it :/
I experienced the same thing...
Very fun little puzzle game, super impressed you managed to build a Tutorial in XD (Thats always the first thing to get the chop in my Jams).
Ran into a problem after targeting 3stars, not sure what happened :P. Nice work though! :D
Thanks for the comment! You might have missed that if the top face is a 5, you need at least 4 other dice to clear it from the board. So in the screenshot, you'll need to get the top faces to be 2s - the yellow highlight just shows which dice it's currently connecting to :)
Although this type of game is quite common in the jam, I actually really like this one. It's really original that the number on the dice actually matters which makes it some kind of candy crush game. The music is really nice and the game feels really polished and smooth. The ice cubes are a nice spin on the concept. Also big plus for being able to rotate the camera. Nice game!
Thanks for the feedback! Im really glad you liked the music, its the first time I've written any music, so was super nervous about how it would come across!
Nice idea. Some other games are nearly the same but you tought to add walls or more dice and the levels are well done, graphics too. Good job and congratulations !
Thanks! I hope there's enough differences to really separate this game from the rest :)
Big bonus points for the tutorial!
Haha, thanks Maytch! I felt there was enough unique rules that the tutorial was really needed
