Too hard for me to play much of but that's on me haha. Nice work.

the idea of choosing the level of power and the world is cool, but I can’t visually understand what you can go through and what you can’t.

Great game! I liked the concept of having completely random maps with different sizes and random abilities but it would be nice if there was a reroll or 2 so the randomness is a bit more forgiving.  I think there is a bit of a balancing issue because if you get unlucky with the dice it makes it quite hard to complete the level in the time given. But I think it's a great concept though, well done!

Hehe I teleported into a mountain every now and then but good world building!

The art is pretty solid and you have a lot of different features running there.

At the moment, is a bit frantic, but fit the quick gameplay premisse.
With a little more space for the player to breath, and some clues of where the goals are on the map, it will be a total pleasure to play!

The game is already pretty good! A bit more polishwill make it really solid and funnier to play!

Your game looks very good! I thought it was a little bit frantic and hard to play but the random generation was really cool

Rolling at the beginning felt a little bit weird, though, cause the dice don't stop at a specific number, they just kind of turn to an edge or a corner.

nice job

Looks great! I enjoyed the randomization. It was really fun to play!

For a 48 hour jam, having random generation in this is really impressive, nice work. The game is pretty fun to play, too! I think there should have been more explanation as to what the different types of rolls were in-game. Great job :)

Good looking game with nice procedural generation for 48 hours. I was a bit struggling with wich tiles have collision and wich don't. kept running into the blue flat tiles in the snow area (lakes probably, when I think about it) and running around the icy hills, that don't have collision.

And, even thou other people apparently disagree with me here, I also kind of didn't like the use of the dice. To me they were just a random number generator that I couldn't interact with and weren't truly a part of the game, like the randomness of were the crystal spawns. Also most of the numbers didn't really mean anything (what "World Roll" number means what map and what "Princess Power" number is which power)

Developer

Thank you for the review!
"World roll" is responsible for the choice of a world - Meadow/Snow world /Desert World.

"Princess Power" is responsible for the ability  which the princess has: FIreball/Healing/Teleport/Increased Speed/Random skill.

Thus, the dices strongly affects the gameplay including what you can achieve and how and all the dices are meaningful.

I hope you have more clarify about the game now

No I got that, thats not what I ment. I ment, that the numbers 1-6 dont really have a connection to Meadow/Snow world /Desert World or FIreball/Healing/Teleport/Increased Speed/Random skill. The player doest know wich number is wich, and even tho they will learn it, the connection is totally arbitrary.

And what i ment with not truly a part of the game, is that your game and procedurally generated ones in general, have a lot of RNGs in them. For example where the crystal spawns also "strongly affects the gameplay including what you can achieve and how", but you don't use a dice for that. And the game wouldn't change at all if "World roll' would just be decided in the background without a dice, and the player just spawns in one of these worlds.

I think the World Size makes is much better, because I understand, that higher number means larger and I know more about the world generation, than if I didn't see the dice (you cant see the map size when you spawn)

But in general, in a way it doesn't feel like a game with or about dice to me, but more like a game with a procedural maps (like a rougelike)

Of cause its not that important to really make a game about dice, the theme is supposed to me interpreted losely. Just in my opinion (with wich others have allready disagreed with), the theme isn't as meaningfull in your game as in many others

I think, if the rythm was faster, it could attain the vibe of a Half Minute Hero or a Wario Ware game. Like having more frenzy and shorter days.

Nice game overall !

Good use of rolling to decide the world and power, and nice art work!

It was a short but fun game, the game loop was very simple, find the crystal and bring it back. Really wish there was a bit of clue on where the crystal is, especially on size 6 maps :P
Other than that, it was a solid game for a 2 day development.
Congrats on finishing the game !

This was a well polished game with innovative take on the rolls. At one moment, I got stuck between mountains though. Producing a game of this quality in 2 days is awesome.

The idea is quite novel, but the random generation doesn't always work too well it seems. I had enemy projectiles hitting me after going behind certain world tiles and enemies getting stuck on the corners of terrain. I still like the implementation a lot though! Nicely done

I do like the concept, and the art style! I did get stuck on various things on the map, with swarms of enemies on me... it is not an easy game! The 3D golden dice are very fancy! Good job on making the game! :D

Good game, fun to play, but a bit frustrating because there are a LOT of enemies, and the terrain doesn't always make it clear which tiles are solid and which not, which make it really hard (especially when the die rolled a non-offensive skill).

A lovely isometric game with a nice take on the theme. Overall, very good game <3

It bugs me to no end that the dice do not end face up after rolling them but have random orientation. But thats a tiny nitpick. Otherwise the game is really cute. Maybe cut down on the enemy spawn rate a tiny bit but make them more impactful. I ran around most of the time just dodging them, which made my rolled ability useless most of the time. Fighting them was never worth the risk. Otherwise i love the idea on rolling for the look of the world. Very creative. Overall its a pretty decent game. Good job for 48 hours.

I liked the creative mechanics around randomly generated worlds and spells. Unfortunately I ran into a bug that spawned me outside of the map, making it so I had to just wait the day out. fun game tho
