I loved the 3D art style in the arena and the fighting mechanics were cool too!

I think this was a nice way to use the randomisation of the dice to affect your weapon without taking away much control from the player.

Cool game!

Nice game. The graphics could be improved a bit. Please check out my game.

Damn, guess we had the same idea lmao

Is the sound glitching or is it part of the game?

Developer(+1)

Sound glitches were not intended. The browser version seems to have some issues loading music and sound effects. I didn't expect it to be game breaking or even noticeable but it might be worse on certain browsers/hardware. There should be no problem with regular downloadable version. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll add a warning.

Just solid fun all around. Good concept and a cool style. I think a reticle that was physically present on the ground in the game might help players see exactly where the dice will land, which would make it easier to hit enemies with it.

Also, the art style is so perfectly fit for a game jam. Great to look at while still being efficient to produce - smart thinking!

Really fun to play around with and see all the different weapons. The game does get a bit repetitive after a few minutes but its fun for a while.

Really cool concept! I like the different types of weapons.

Very fun game to play. The different weapons all feel different and are fun to use. Would have love to have some particle effects when killing an enemy.
Very good job!

Cool and creative game! Can definitely see this concept being fleshed out even further post-jam! :)

the game looks really clean and it's a really fun gameplay loop! Love the dice mechanic in this one, great job :)

I enjoyed this game in a lot of ways. The dice mechanic was implemented in a very non-intrusive way, where it felt fun to use, and the music and visual design of the game was great.

My main critiques were the lack of variety, where there weren't additional obstacles or enemies or secondary uses for the dice. Furthermore, where the sword and the shotgun were quite fun, most of the weapons felt very unsatisfying to use, such as the bomb and nuke removing your sword, and the grenade launcher not having a sound effect.

Otherwise, the game was quite well made and fun for the time I played it.

Both the music and visuals were a lot of fun to work on and I'm quite happy how they turned out. I definitely wanted to add some enemy variety if I had the time.

Explosives leaving you without a weapon was intended to briefly leave the player defenseless, it's a pacing element I threw in without much thought. The grenade launcher is completely unfinished besides the most basic functionality.  Also the dice actually hurts the enemies if you drop it on top of them, it's just too inconsistent to be a reliable weapon :P

Thanks for playing :]

Ahahaha, this is just dumb fun, I love it! ^^

There's a lot of creative ways to deal with the flow of ennemies, my favourite being "The Shepherd": you round them up in the middle by going circles, and obliterate them with the grenade launcher or the nuke.
Once you get used to it, there's not much challenge, but it's still fun to replay just to try out new weapons and combos.

Also, I kinda like the visuals, it's simple but in a good way.

Great submission! =D

(also, I get on top of a buiding if I want to!!!)

Thanks a lot :] love it when people share their experiences and tactics.

(And I respect your right to get on top of buildings whenever you feel like, it's just an... interesting choice)

Really cool aesthetic + game concept. The song is super sick

Interesting game with nice graphics. I think with some polish (e.g. more feedback for when you take damage or deal damage) this game can be really fun!

cool art style. The dice is well implemented with its random power ups

I like the art, its weird, but in a nice way.
