Great job! I could see this becoming a bigger game! I think you could separate movement from the dice rolling and free yourself up to explore more tactics/ map variety. The dice rolling could then be entirely devoted to actions offensive and defensive. Lots of fun!
This game was easy to understand and simple. I liked it!
Liked the art. The game also has a nice interpretation of the theme. The ability for characters to focus on other enemies would have made this game even better I think. Overall it's a decent game, particularly given the 48 hour time limit.
Very nice use of the dice mechanic, though i think that movement should be separate from the dice action, allowing you to move in 4 directions.
Excellent presentation and nice take on including the dice. If you did want to keep expanding on this, I think seperating move and attacks somehow (or at least ensuring there's always at least one of each option) would help avoid frustrating RNG. It would be nice to have the ability to change direction, or at least put the tank who can damage adjacent tiles in the middle so they can assist both the other characters.
Still amazed this was done in 48 hours though, nice work!
I really like the artwork, and I think it's a really good take on the theme, very well done!
Lovely concept, love the artwork and great use of theme, i enjoyed it
Great artwork and a good use of theme. The strategic combinations did a nice job of requiring the player to make decisions. If you take this one past prototyping I'd separate out the movement mechanics from the dice rolls altogether (i.e. move & play an attack on one turn).
beat it first try with a bit of a challenge so nice balance, kind of wish u weren't just locked into 1 lane tho. great aesthetic as well
Awesome mechanics, lots of strategy potential. The art was absolutely gorgeous as well!
Only minor critique is to consider making movement free for the player each turn.
Excellent game all around!
Very good I loved it. Nice art
Very good use of the dice! Would have loved vertical movements though, I want heroes to go to other lanes to help others out!
Nice idea, but every character only focus on one enemy
Good art with some very interesting game mechanics one thing I would probably change is making the characters be able to move side to side.
Looks very good and gameplay is pretty fun!
No sound or music.
Graphics look nice.
Mechanics work, but they don't seem al that fun. If anything, being unable to control your characters while they get attacked seems frustrating. Unique, but I'm not sure it works well here. It fits the theme though!
Good idea, the game feels polished, I loved the arrows XD
Great gameplay! I didn't get much use out of the movement tiles. I think they would be more useful if I could choose an adjacent tile to move to rather than just oscillating back and forth. I love the idea though and you've got a pretty good execution.
Visuals and gameplay are top notch. The atmosphere and feel of the game are satisfying. I also enjoyed the use of text to narrate the battle and the drag and dropping of the dice onto the heroes. If you were to polish this, you could sell this as a complete game. Nice submission!
The art is amazing! Love the unique art style, looks really refined. Gameplay is a bit hard to get a grasp of because there are too many things from the beginning, but it works as a vertical slice. If you add a progression system where you start with fewer characters and unlock more people as the game goes on, that would be perfect!
Please try our game as well!
