Really cool game, loved the art and music! The gameplay was alright, but the boxes, man were they annoying to move around haha
A very well done game nonetheless, great job!
I liked the artwork on the levels, the UI didn't quite match. This was a decent concept and I thought it was well designed with early easier levels getting progressively harder.
A few glitches where the character got stuck on the left side of the screen were annoying and the movement in general felt too slow to me. I'm with evilc00kie that the box was hard to control and move around.
But nice effort especially you fellow first-timers!
I like the combination of platformer and puzzleish, where it wasn't clear how to finish the level in the first place. The artwork and music fits nicely to the overall theme.
It was a bit tricky to move the boxes with the gear.
Fantastic work! Very satisfying physics on the movement. You absolutely nailed the feeling there.
I don't have a bad word to say about this one! Played it through and loved it.
I really liked the physics based movement, being able to crawl over the edge of something if the jump was just too short.
The art is great and I loved the introductory nature of the levels.
It did get a bit fiddly because the physics is very, ehm, precise... unforgiving.
Had to try some levels multiple times to get the physics behave like I wanted, but overall a pretty solid game.
'T was alright, I liked the astethic, as it reminded me of Tinker Knight's stage from Shovel Knight, but I ragequit at the level where you have to use a gear to push a box into a button over a lava pond. Every time I tried the level, the box either got stuck on the scaffolding in a way where I had no other choice but to push it in lava, or it just fell in the lava! I knew what to do, I just couldn't get the game to do what I wanted :(
Tinker Knight was actually my reference for the colors! I pulled up a picture on Google and used the color picker extension to get the hex codes. And that level is by far the most difficult, but fitting because it’s the last one before the “You Win” screen
Awesome NES art style, and the music track seems very faithful to the tunes of the old chips! You somehow gave a single cog a lot of character =]
The pixel art style looks really good, the colours choice is [a word other than good because I already used that but one that means the same thing].
I also like the hidden tutorial is really well implemented. I like the level where it first introduces the spring mechanic.
Minor nitpick: the whole game uses the cog physics.. except for the animation when you complete a level, the cog just flies through the door thing lol. It kind of sticks out.
Nice physics! It feels great to climb over a ledge as a gear.
Music was a little overwhelming but still kind of jammy. I looooved the clock in the background moving with the time changes.
Fun platformer but I accidentally glitched the box into the wall and softlocked the level XD
you can pause and reset the level if that happens, I tried to avoid designing places that this could happen, but theres a few places where I couldn't avoid it.
cool kind of "jump and run" game, it makes me want to play it again and again :)
I agree, its all awesome and keeps me entertained plus the main character looks awesome >:D
Nice graphics and music. I love clock at the background! The gamemechanic reminds me of game Gish. I feels like it lacks of just jumping around levels where player can play with inertia of a rolling gear. Some sounds feels little overdrive for me, but they add nice feedback.
