Fly a plane in someone's dream to save them from their fears
How does your game tie into the theme?
The game is set in a person's dream, you have been connected to them to help defeat their worst fear, a bit like inception.

the controls are super smooth, well done bud! models are great and good use of the wild cards
Awesome 3D graphics, great controls and sound. Is the code available on github?
As a flying game it is great, especially since it is running in the browser with flawless performance.
Fun game with super easy controls. I did run into a problem where if you hold down the barrel roll the audio bugs out though. Besides that, it felt flawless!
the animation of the ship is super smooth! reminds me of my childhood when I played Star Fox ^^
Very cool graphics and controls are very satisfying! It could be better though if fears were something more like fears rather than space ships, I find it a bit confusing :)
Very interesting little game! I loved the music and sfx. You used Asset Forge for this - how did you find it? I had trouble with it the first time I tried it out, but it's probably gotten better since that time (was very early in the creation process from Kenney). I had some trouble dodging stuff until I remembered about barrel rolls, and then it seems like I didn't really get hit very much. I found it harder to aim, but probably just need to get used to it. The game was very fun and interesting, and for a first-time GWJer, stellar submission!
Asset Forge is amazing for jams and prototypes for a couple reasons, it's fast to make many assets and everything matches visually. It has received quite a few updates since I've owned it and it feels quite complete. I've only had a few crashes but never lost any progress. Yeah I was a bit bogged down at the end with all the final parts of the game like the menus and chapters, I didn't have time to go over balance, it would have been smart to send it to friends to test part way through but I've learned that for next time :) Thanks for playing!
Nice graphics. Liked that there's an option to start at the boss. Thanks for sharing!
- Theme: Tie in is through narrative
- Fun: The core loop was clear
- Controls: The ship handled well and the options for barrel rolls felt good. The camera feels maybe too low of an angle or it could just be there's not enough visibility on projectiles and enemies. Either way, the end result is that it's sometimes hard to see the projectiles to avoid
- Graphics: I really liked all of the graphics and the vaporwave aesthetic fit it well. The VFX fit it well too
- Audio: Good balance of music and SFX
- A11y: Having the option to start from a specific part of the mission was an excellent idea.
- Originality: Good foundation for a game, would love to see the concept developed more
Great fun game. I like the retro feel. Nice touch offering a skip-to-boss option on player death. Well done.
Man, I love low poly games like this when they're done right. I played through the whole thing. I feel like the barrel roll is really overpowered, I got through the whole thing spamming barrel roll haha. SPOILER ALERT:
I love how the rat boss was a ship shaped like a rat's face!
