The animation here is magnificent, and the music and sound effects are on point, too! The controls feel a little stiff, but it's still good fun.
The attack and movement animations were so slick! I loved the design of the cat and the bazooka enemies, plus the DnB type music went hard. The debris doing damage was also a pleasant surprise. It would've been an unrealistic demand considering the time constraints, but a roll/dodge mechanic would've been bliss.

Amazing art style and nice controls. I love how fluid the animations feel.
It’s interesting that the enemies can also destroy obstacles, creating a strategic element to the game. Trying to manipulate them to clear the optimal path adds to the challenge. I just wish that losing all your health would restart only the current level, instead of sending you back to the first level again.
yeah, the game ended up being really difficult, i regret not changing the restart system
I really liked this. You inspired me to learn how to remap controls and make cool dashing particle effects!
This was a lot of fun. Took me a moment to realize that I could launch the garbage cans, that was a nice touch. I really like the art + music as well, it all fit together really nicely.

Nice game you've made here! Had quite a bit of fun, especially after I figured out that you can launch bombs from trash cans. I also love the animations, they feel so juicy!
Here are a few things that came to mind while I was playing. I think it would have been nice to have more directional control over the attack, as in being able to do it in 8-way rather than just 4-way.
The hit-stop from attacking an enemy feels nice and impactful, but maybe it was just a tad bit too long. Since I have to attack the enemies so many times, that hit-stop starts to add up and starts making the game feel a little slow, in my opinion.
Also didn't know that the garbage bags were bombs initially, so I died on my first run not knowing how I died.
Anyways, well done on the game!

Loved the feel of the game! Got super hyped when the music came on lol... Also loved the feedback you get from the dash, it's very entertaining... I do think though, with how the gameplay flows that a rouge-like would be perfect for this, but it's a jam game and I understand not wanting to code a procgen mechanic lol. Keep it up!
The character design, animations and movement felt awesome. Wow. The enemy designs were pretty cool too, and being able to hit the trash cans into enemies is a nice touch to the gameplay! I felt like a dodge mechanic with a cooldown would have made this game a little less unforgiving trying to dodge those rockets, though! I did end up using the attacks themselves to dodge a few of them haha!

Wish I can go back to the level I lost in, going through level 1 again to get back to where I was kinda tedious (ignore if it was intended to be like it xD)

game felt very smooth and responsive, especially really liked the sound effects and background music! also the three shot dog is a menace, really liked how intimidating he was

Very fun and cute game although I wish dying just restarted the level and not the whole game cause I want to play all the levels but I'm also bad at the game.
that was intentional, but now I realize that the game is too hard so people die a lot lol
