well done! I think shift as the lightswithc might have been easier for me, but nevertheless it was super fun!

Nice mechanic, congrats! I just think it would be easier if there were two buttons to the pick/interact button too, I couldn't play with the ad-e combo! ^^' But with the the arrows-e it worked fine.

Great work on this one! I loved the puzzles. The last one in particular was really cool. I think the controls and collisions could use some work. They work fine for the most part, but in the more precise platforming areas they felt a bit off. I had to practically fall off each platform in order to make the jumps, so it's a good thing you seem to have implemented coyote time. There were also points during the vertical jumps where a nice slide around a corner would have felt much better. That aside, this is a really solid puzzle platformer!

Unfortunately, I did not share the same experience as fellow players. The original pickup and drop mechanic might have been explained ok, but I didn't actually know it was a lightswitch that used the same button for its interaction. In addition, when I got to the pixel-perfect jumps, I thought that was the wrong solution, and ended up locking myself out.

This is the slight problem with mixing skill and puzzle. In order for skill to be the solution, all other possible solutions must be impossible to execute. You likely didn't intend for me to be able to lock myself out, which means at the bare minimum, a restart action is required.

I'm sorry it turned out this way. Come back in January and try again.

I really love this game! The game loop is very well defined, the gameplay is very pleasing. It's also really aesthetics. Good job!

Great implementation of the idea. The only problem is that the controls are kind of uncomfortable and the character sometimes gets bugged in when you switch the lights off. The idea is very cool tho.

Hey nice game, the pixel perfects jump are very hard indeed but the controls are very polished so it helped.I like the one bit style and the box puzzles are very interesting. The skip button is very good, I got locked in a level that I dropped the switch and was able to just skip it. Good job!

Sounds and looks good, and the game was fun for a while. Way too challenging for me, though. Lots of pixel-perfect jumps you have to pull of in a row.

Developer

Yeah, I added a lot of those pixel-perfect jumps. But I added a skip level too, in the options menu. thanks for playing.

My favorite game ive reviewed so far! my only feedback is that the controls were a little difficult because the light switch and move forward button are controlled by the same finger

Developer

Yeah, I should have put the light switch on the F now that I think. Thank you, and I'm glad you liked that much.
