This is a cooperative exploration game in which 2 people share a keyboard to control 2 characters who have flashlights to work with. In order to review this game, I have adopted my friends LEFT_HAND and RIGHT_HAND to give it a shot.
However, there appears to be a problem, in which both teammates died while they seemed to be in a light source. I found a metal brick and died shortly after.
A shame, honestly, as cooperative experiences are few and far between. It may be worth continuing your work on this one, but as always, I'm hoping you'll be back in January!
Very cool concept and it's clear a lot of effort went into this. Great job!
Gorgeous pixel art! I sadly also was playing by myself but seems like it would be fun with a friend. I'm not a big fan of tank controls personally, would definitely have preferred a more typical style of top-down movement. The collision detection with the characters and the flashlights seems a little weird, I couldn't really get it to work for me in a predictable way. Great work regardless!
It's difficult to give proper feedback having to drive two characters simultaneously but from what I played, I can see this being enjoyable with a friend. The art style is beautiful though there were points where I couldn't tell what I could walk through. Again could be fun with a friend but difficult to say right now.
Also finding the sonic was a cheeky surprise.
The art is so good in this game!!! I did find it quite hard to progress with controlling both characters. I also kept experiencing this thing where the rooms wouldn't load at all with all the candles on. But it's still a good game and with 2 people I can see it being a lot more fun :). - Alfie
Art direction and music are phenomenal, and I feel like this could be really interesting, but I just can't progress. Controlling two characters is frustrating, I can't seem to interact with anything and my characters keep freezing up really fast. I retried a bunch of times and I feel like I'm missing something... I managed to get into a super dark room in which the flashlight didn't seem to work? :\
Great game! but also it got bugged after i opened one door in the right after the levers room at the start, and the commands were a little bit unconfortable. still Good Job!
Sorry but it lags too much on the web, I'm using google chrome , what do you guys use ? It could have been great to have a downloadable file !
I really like that drone of dread that comes up from time to time, that in addition to the incredible pixel art brings an atmosphere os suspense really nice and makes it so immersive. Very good work!
I escaped! Absolutely gorgeous pixel art. However, it's like piloting two tanks on a search and rescue op... Still, I enjoyed my time wondering about cluelessly around the mansion.
Love the art, and the tank controls. Don't get them that often. Was even a little fun trying to pilot two of the guys at once by yourself.
No idea what I was supposed to be doing though.
The game looks really nice i think reminds me of the old sas assault games lol i got a little confused at the controls and also got stuck becuase the camera didnt follow me to the next area but i just keeped walking forward and it got me there
Ah, well that happened as it is 2 player game, i think it might not have been obvious, will see to that. Thanks for the feedback though
