Very cute game! Congrats on your first GWJ! The art and music were really well done, and I enjoyed your use of the theme. It was nice seeing cut scenes. Great job!
This was neat! Cute opening and ending scenes and cool general concept.
It was a little awkward figuring out how the game worked, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. I think it just felt like I was getting eaten/killed and without some kind of visual indication that I had taken over the fish it was easy to assume I had lost, at least for a second or two. But like I said, I figured it out pretty quickly, so not huge a deal.
Overall, this was a very complete-feeling entry with some unique ideas, so great job!
Hey this has some nice touches like the opening scenes tho the controls are a little tricky at times.
Awesome effort on your first GWJ entry!
I really liked the atmosphere and visuals, how the little mokritsa looks and its growth. But there were difficulties with control.
The final plot twist almost got me!
Congratulations, this is a great and solid submission, with really nice artworks! :)
I would have liked to explore the fish-controlling-fish mechanic a bit more, which happened only once in my (late) game. However, that's material for the next release :P
The art style was very cute! Good SFX as well.
I liked how I had to exploit other fish to go past obstacles. Good job!
The hand drawn art style is great, especially the opening cutscene. Possessing creatures is a fun mechanic for a platformer and really fits the theme. Overall a great game.
This has inspired me to try to make a hand-drawn game soon. The sprites all look gorgeous, and I especially like the fisherman character! Great little platformer on top of all the art makes this a great submission!
nice game i love the handdrawn art you have. Congratulations for your first godot wild jam, this is my first too :)
Cute game, has a very cozy feel to it and the art style really helped add to that feeling.
I loved it so much I finished it! I was attracted by the handdrawn thumbnail, and I found gold. The art style is so charming, I think you have a gift of making simple lines convey affection and emotion. It took me a while to figure out that different fishes had different controls, but I'm glad I stuck through it.
Full marks on theme too. Sublime.
Awesome game! My favorite part was the artwork and I also liked the story and and music. Made it to the end and hit spikes 3 times
Amazing game. The artstyle was amazing, the little creature seemed so lovely and cute. The only suggestion I would have is that left/right deceleration feels a bit sudden.
I really like the chill theme and the art ! Quite sadge that there is a soft possible right before the end but good game anyway !
What a friend!! A good boy indeed
That's a cute game - i like the story :) aaand there where no bugs, i finished the game. good job!
Very chill! I like that hitting the spikes doesn't kill you but just gives a worse score, fits the relaxed theme.
