Nice game ;-)

VERY satisfying to throw all the stuff down the hole, great work! Visuals and sounds are amazing, everything feels very polished

Other have mentioned already that the ability to bring everything to the hole in advance kinda kills all the challenge, but otherwise this is a super cool game!

Great submission, congrats!

It is a super great idea, it was really cool to play to it!

They may have a too much phase possible of planning and bringing all the objects before hand, but it's really cool and fun do throw them into the hole !

Check out my game to see the hole interactions !

Played through your game on stream, if youre interested in watching me go through it I have the vod below timestamped to your game

Was a fun game, especially when I got to the points where I could get it to snowball. The optimal strategy unfortunately isnt that fun (which is to just take every object and put it beside the void) so if you work on this a bit post jam something that might be a nice addition would be guiding the player to the more fun aspects of the game and building up that pre setup less through some mechanics (someone in my chat suggested having a timer before it starts automatically))

Developer

Thank you so much for your feedback! I've watched your playthrough and it was very helpful with showing me what works and what doesn't, along with a couple of glitches that I noticed 😅 Will definitely work on it post-jam some more to make the prep-work more fun, since I fully agree with your points on the optimal strategy. A timer would be a great idea and I'll likely implement some more mechanics on the transportation of the items as well. (Like buffing the Superthrow, maybe having a shockwave-like effect to push a bunch of items at once, etc.) Thank you for trying and reviewing my game, I'm really happy you had some fun with it :)

I really liked this one. It's been a while since I played a katamari like game and this one worked quite  well for me.

Very creative. I love the music

I love the programming jokes and hotline miami style :) congrats would be nice to push people in there as well hahah

Developer(+1)

Thank you, hahaha! I actually thought adding people to the game in the beginning of development, but decided against it as I have zero experience with NPC behaviour yet and therefore scrapped the idea to save on time

Pretty cool. Just challenging enough to keep it fun. I kept wishing I could use some ricochet mechanic.
Overall nice job. Good concept!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! That certainly sounds like a fun idea, I might add something along the lines in the future!

Hotline Miami esque graphics and an interesting gimmick. You squirrel away a pile of items to rapid fire into a void to grow it, allowing you to toss bigger items in. These games like Insaniquarium and Katamari Demacy scratch a certain itch. My critique is that there is not too much to it and piling up the throwables is a bit of a cumbersome task.

Developer

Yes, I totally agree with that last part. I struggled quite a bit with how to make the game actually fun to play, so I might work on the system some more after the rating period is over to make the preparation work more fun and to add some more creative Ideas. Thank you for the feedback!! :)

I must admit, destroying an office is pretty satisfying!

Developer

Thank you! :)  Totally agree ;D

It controls pretty well and has some charming art to go with it. It reminds me of throwing around loot bags in Payday 2 (for some odd reason). It was overall pretty fun :D

Developer

Thats awesome to hear, thanks! :D

It was a blast playing through this game.
Reminded me of "tasty planet".

Developer

Thank you! They certainly do share the "eat/collect stuff, get bigger" type of game design haha
