This was a great fun little experience. I loved the sound effects and the use of the pitch/tempo shift in the background music. You really had me at "sch-wing-uh" for swinging the scythe haha! Good progression too.  I didn't have any other coplayers but I loved the concept nonetheless.

That was a great experience.  The whole package reminded me a lot of Westerado in vibe, which is not a bad thing at all.  I'm really impressed you folks managed to get this all done in a jam, way to go!  I don't have any criticisms for once, I didn't find a thing wrong.  Just wanted to come and say thanks for giving us a game to play!

Really enjoyable. I am not sure you audio settings were hooked up. Super impressive what you were able to accomplish in the time.

Yeah, we noticed this at the deadline. It is weird, because it works on our local builds and local webhost run. My best guess is something in the .godot cache was corrupt/stale somehow which seems to happen frequently when git is modifying stuff underneath godot.

I want every game now to have the options of having a dude making all the sounds with their voice, I am not joking. A very enjoyable and chill game <3

I was really really hoping for the Wildcard vote to pick "Oral Fixation" so I would have a thematic reason to do it.  But I think I'm going to keep doing it for game jams going forward.  Fun and people seem to enjoy it.

Wow - so impressive to have made such a complete game, and with online multiplayer too! I liked the graphics and music and it was fun to play. I could've used some kind of minimap as I kept getting lost and couldn't find my brewery lol. But I enjoyed collecting ingredients and discovering the different recipes - great job!

I really liked this one and the online multiplayer component is incredibly impressive. Seeing a bottle pop up near me and knowing someone else was playing was genuinely super cool, I wish the interaction keys were displayed in-game somewhere so I knew to use them! Only found them when reading the write-up afterwards. I also love that the moonshine increases the music speed and that it scales with how many bottles you've consumed. Overall, really great submission.

P.S. I apologize to the world for littering so intensely around the map.

I saw it in the other comment but I liked the human-voice SFX. haha

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to experience it but it's impressive you made the multiplayer game in a week. Hollering reminded me of Death Stranding a little bit.

Nicely done!

Developer

Thanks, the SFX were a pleasure to make.  I'm glad you enjoyed them!

SuWeeep! Bottles make the music faster, I completed all 4 bottles, Amazing Art and Audio, nice short game

Developer

Haha, my teammate loves making all of the SFX with only mouth sounds so this game jam was the perfect chance for him. It was hilarious listening to all of the Appalachian Hollering competitions he was watching to research accurate hollers for the game (“c” key).

Glad you enjoyed the game and thanks for playing.

I have no idea what I’m brewing, but it’s pretty fun!

Developer(+1)

Lol, yep some of the concoctions are more mysterious than others. We referred to them as moonshine, whiskey, mead, and “brown brew” for the final tier haha.

Thanks for playing!
