Cool game idea! It was definitely challenging switching characters, but I had fun nonetheless. Great entry!

Game Description
Defend the cats as they produce enough energy to escape the Earth. Switch players to produce game winning energy, ammo for your canons and health to keep you going. All while aliens, terrorists and space junk threaten your existence.
How does your game tie into the theme?
A space elevator is about the biggest tower we could think of. It's also kind of a tower defence game.

Even with the hints I was confused about needing to generate more ammo initially, but once I figured it out I enjoyed the game loop. It felt hectic for most of the game which kept me engaged, though might be nice to build in moments of calm. Overall I had fun!
I never know what to expect out of an ending screen. Maybe I want more levels? Maybe some kind of additional satisfaction? I'm really unsure.
Anyway, it seemed fair but tense and rough by the end of the game. It was definitely fun. I kept getting confused about which way the space gun aimed. I think it could have used more upgrades, like tighter gun rotation, faster robot movement, faster item generation speed, etc. Like if there was a little tier system you could spend points on instead of just the raw materials.
Well it felt easy at first but it was a pain in the butt to beat. Is that good? I think so. Overall, I'm happy.
Great little game! It took me a minute or two to figure out how to play even with the hints, but I had fun with it once I got going. I like the colour choices, and a game is always made better with cats IMO!
One thing that bugged me a little was the lack of visual indication of which character you're controlling other than the switching animation. A border (or just the corners of a square) around the currently selected character would work well I think.
I love cats, fun concept. Feels like a good game to also break out into multiplayer co-op with a spike in difficulty of course.
Can we please keep the cats though, I don't want them to leave.
I did have a bug where the ammo wasn't refilling if I was controlling the mech,
super cute artstyle, really unique concept, and well executed too! i had a lot of fun figuring out how to load things up onto the ship, and the resource management wasn't too overwhelming or overly complicated. the skillchecks were a nice touch as well, luckily i play a ton of dead by daylight so hitting those were a piece of cake for me LOL. overall a very fun entry!
My favourite so far. Sadly i shattered the hopes and dreams of the cats because of skill issues :D and tanks ran over everything (also because i couldnt change characters while playing the timed minigame because tab also rotates the focus between buttons so i was somehow forced to win 3 in a row before being able to close the item selection screen. luckily key bindings are changeable, but tab as default is not ideal)
Thanks for the kind words. I kinda kept you locked into the minigame to make it a strategic choice as the game quickly gets more hectic you need to choose whether you have the time to start production or defend.
I also wasn't 100% happy with the key bindings, but also didn't seem like a natural set that everyone would like.
Thank you for playing!
I love the cats sprites, and the theme is unique and, well, on theme. The cat in the gun control room doing that thing with its fingers was a nice touch. I had the hardest time timing the spinning ring thingy!
I really enjoyed playing this! I love the style and simplicity of the controls, although I found the turret moved a little too fast. I wish I had realized the satellites were bad news - I guess they're space junk? Anyway, with a little bit more tutorialization this could really be something!
This was really fun! Maybe default the volume at 50% since it was a bit loud. Also it would be helpful to show some kind of tooltip when you switch to the cat on the surface to indicate that you need to press space to interact - took me a while to figure that out.
