Nice concept for a game 馃槉
GAMEPLAY
What an evil old man 馃槈! The concept of gathering an army for revenge is fun. The controls were a bit tricky, though. It might feel better if the camera rotated with the character so you could always see where you鈥檙e going. The flat style is visually nice and fun, but when you view characters from the side, they disappear. But it was fun to collect my army 馃槉!
VISUALS
Distinct style with flat sprites mixed with 3D. Also the intro was very well done. The story was immediately very clear.
AUDIO
The music was okay. Adding more sound effects could be a nice bonus for a future update.
THEME
The theme was incorporated... check!
Overall a well made jam entry in 3 days. Nice job馃挭

What an awesome game! Really fun and silly introduction to the game, very interesting artstyle, fun mechanics, this is actually really impressive for such a short time. Great job!
The art looks so silly, yet so good. I love how colorful it looks and it works great! I also think the introduction is a very nice touch. Too bad, there's no ending to the game! But overall, I had a lot of fun walking around with my army of goblins :)

The game鈥檚 art is undoubtedly a strong point, I really liked it and the overall aesthetic of the map!
The opening scenes clearly convey the story, so even without any dialogue or anything like that, everything that happened was perfectly understandable, you did a great job with that
The way we control our allies is also quite interesting, although I felt there was a bit of a lack of feedback when hitting an enemy. There鈥檚 an indicator that shows we鈥檝e attacked, and they turn red as their health decreases, but to enhance the combat experience and give a better feeling of actually hitting them, maybe pushing them back could make things more satisfying
During gameplay, I missed just two things: an indicator of where we should go (since I believe we can鈥檛 defeat all the enemies in the scene as there are too many) and a way to move faster
These additions would really enhance the player experience

Thank you very much for the review, the characters are pushed back, but I probably left it too weak, the game doesn't have much of an objective, I couldn't finish the ending so it's really just a map with some funny parts, then when the jam ends I'll leave the path further obvious

the intro scene is a cinematic masterpiece. I didn't find the old man's house so I'm not sure how well I did but the style and the concept are wonderful

I absolutely ADORE the art. The intro cutscene was a treat... seeing the old man peer out from the doorway with his gun was hilarious. Cute concept, would love to see a full/complete version! The goblin army shall reign supreme
