Really nice work! It was easy to understand and fun building your own little world. I really love the ambient sound too. Very relaxing :)

This is an exceptional submission. I could easily find myself getting lost in this. One thing that I did notice was that I was still able to hear a dog barking sound effect even with the sound effects and ambience disabled. But, overall, this is an absolutely rad game. I loved the ambience.

Developer

Oh crap good catch! I messed that one up. Thanks a lot! Glad you liked it.

A lovely game! the control is a little hard as I don't know how to pan the camera, and when I click on it sometimes it does not work on click on the wrong thing. But in general a good game and would love to see it as an idle game on phone!

Outstanding entry, very fun. I played it quite a while to the point where the costs started getting ridiculous.

Only suggestions/points of feedback are on relatively minor things. It would have been nice to be able to remove/overwrite a tile and also a color change or some other indication of what tile I'm about to affect would be nice -a few times I placed a tile in an unintended spot.

Developer

Thanks a lot! Yeah, the costs do start getting ridiculous at one point. I need to adjust the curve. I agree on the placements, it’s a bit weird and sometimes you place stuff on another spot. I’m not sure if I want to add a way to remove tiles, but maybe I’ll add it as an option if I update the game, because I’ve been getting a few suggestions about that.

I really like the concept of the game and how calming it is, would definity try and work on this further! I personally would love to play it on my phone as idle game as I am doning random things

Developer

Thanks! I think I’ll look into making it mobile friendly.

Extremely well polished for such a short game-jam!

Submitted(+1)

Honestly fantastic, amazing sounds and a super high level of polish for such a short game jam!
You should be very proud of this, good job!

Developer

Thank you a lot! I’m super proud of it :D

This was really great. Game is relaxing and interesting. Reminded me of Stacklands.  Ambient sounds were very fitting.

Would have been nice if you could rotate the camera.  Adding music could also really amplify the chilled mood.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Stacklands was definitely an inspiration! Rotating the camera would be really hard to implement since it’s all 2D assets. Glad you liked it.

Super cute visuals, good progression, very neat game, ;p; 🤯

Great little game. I liked the upgrade mechanics. One thing I wished for was moving the view port left and right, since sometimes things get covered by the cards etc... But definitely  solid entry.

Developer

With left and right, do you mean rotating or moving the camera?

Submitted

rotation I don't know if that is possible, since I think the art assets are 2d? .. But just panning the camera. I was only able to zoom in and out, but not to move the center of the camera.

Developer

You can move the camera with WASD and the arrows, but rotation would either be impossible or really hard since it’s 2D.

Submitted

Ok... I don't know what the problem was. Now it works... I am sure I tried to use the keys. Great game :-)

Lovely game! Loved the progression aspect and the sandbox-feel to it, great job using the assets!

Developer

Thanks!

Love the clean visuals, gameplay, and relaxing ambient music. This has to be my favourite game, very very impressive!

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it :)

really nice concept! I loved the graphics. I would really like some more buildings, but for a game made in 2 days, this is awesome!

Good job!

Developer

Thank you! I may update it after the jam ends.

Submitted(+1)

It is so addictive... There's a zen sensation while playing it @_@

Developer(+1)

That’s what I was going for :) Thanks

Submitted(+1)

Overwhelmingly excellent! I love this game to bits! :)

Me whem, when a, am , cool game :D

Neat concept for an idle/clicker game, very relaxing, just missing a soothing little tune :D

Developer

I agree. I’m not good with music and I think the ambience is cool, but it still needs something. Thanks!

Submitted(+1)

Really interesting, good job. I would like to have an undo action, sometimes the click is not correct and it builds in the incorrect place.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I don’t think I’d like to add an undo button, it’s kind of a design choice, but I definitely think it could be made more obvious where you are placing the tile.

Mate this game is aces!  Beautiful design and though I hate waiting on idle games, I'm such a sucker for town building games I could just wait all day to build this thing up.  Really great work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! Yeah I usually hate waiting on idle games, which is why I tried making this one a bit faster than most idle games.
