Naw. Solo effort. Was only able to work on the core game for 2 days T_T

I enjoy the 64x64 constraint :-)
What did you learn?
I wanted to get better at complex animation states and fluid player movement. There are two enemy types that show how well the player's movement interacts with possible threats.
Hope you enjoy just jumping around and attacking at various tempos to see how it influences Kenobi.

I think keeping the graphics simple in this game was the correct choice since I believe it adds to the fast-paced combat. The movement was smooth and the feedback of the attacks was great. The animations were so good!

10/10 would get rickrolled again. Great lowrez animations, the ability to fly by jumping forever looked and felt really cool, wouldn't mind seeing a whole game where you can do that!
The animation is great, I like the black and white color scheme. Shame there wasn't much.

Damn, shame that was all there was, because the controls and attacks were smooth, and the expression in the animations are crisp and fluid. I was looking forward to helping out lowrez princess leia. Cutting up the two squares was really enjoyable tho! lol.
If you end up expanding on this, I'd genuinely play it.

So it's a shame you didn't have as much time to work on this because this character feels really really nice to control, especially the combo stuff with really juicey animation. I really hope you continue with this because it feels like it will be a lot of fun once there is more. Nice work!

I really like the animations and movement feel. Seems like you can jump infinitely up? Not sure if that's intended. Overall, I really like how this feels as a gameplay demo.
Really glad you like the movement! And yes, the infinite jumping and freedom to continuously combo was by design. The eventual barrage of enemies and chaos will put your agility to the test hopefully :-)
OK, so it's not a finished game but the movement is really nice and fluid and the animation has an extraordinary amount of expression in so few pixels. From that perspective, mission accomplished 👍
