Nice! Great challenge. Visually reminds me very much of Slime Rancher. Good job! I also had a pleasure playing this on a stream yesterday, https://youtube.com/live/pxOUASRSPeY
I had a similar idea to this, The kirby style mechanic. Nice to see someone else make it😂
Gives off 'katamari' & sort of 'donut county' vibes. Game balance could be slightly easier (it was hard for me)
Nice work with the 3D assets as I believe setting up such a scene has to be done manually which takes alot of time so good work on that!
Overall I think with a bit more work & more content this also be something cool to see on steam! 😁
I was doing really well with this one in the browser compared to so many of the other entries, but still somehow, no matter how much I inhaled or which way I pointed/moved, I wasn't successful in growing and swallowing up the cake! I found the music slightly overbearing/annoying so took a star off for that (can't take half stars) - but otherwise I did like the art and everything, it was cool. I liked all the title/introduction screens and stuff, which really helped with understanding and navigation.
Nice graphics and easy to play but there are a some minor stutter issues for me.
My system specs: Intel Core i5-3570, 8GB RAM, GTX1060, Windows 10 21H2.
Super fun, especially the end part where you could eat everything! The camera is a bit awkward though, it should probably be moved up a bit, so you can see what’s in front of the character. Other than that it was a very satisfying experience! Great work!
PROS:
- Made me laugh towards the end
- Can change the sensitivity (it was way to high at first)
- Difficulty was on point actually (I lost the first time)
CONS:
- Camera movement could be dampened abit
- Can see under world once big enough, not really the end of the world, its just there
- Should remove left click and just have it be auto on.
haha, quite funny game! Bit too easy though, after sucking entire world I still had like 40 seconds left on the clock :D But it is surprisingly well made! Good job!
I like the idea and the Slime is quite a cute character to play as. I played it three - four times trying to explore the environment and to grow in size. Some time was difficult to aim as the "vortex" was disappearing (too close to wall, or looking to low). Dragging the objects around gave me a sense of "indigestion" as I was expecting them to be assimilated and the slime to grow in size accordingly. Also the fact that the "suck" is infinite doesn't really feel like taking a breath. I was expecting to need to manage it and allow the Slime to rest every now and then. But I had lots of fun and I wanted to rePlay this game and I will love to play a full version with different stages.
