Played for roughly 30 minutes. I had fun once I grasped how jumping from web to web worked.
Music was appropriate and not too overbearing. It fit the theme and aesthetic.
The menu was really well done. I loved the game within a game concept. Always a big fan of that when it's well done.
I didn't like how janky it was to hit the buttons. Sometimes I would have the reticle aimed in the middle of it and it wouldn't register. Still, it did work sometimes.
Enjoyed it, though I didn't finish all the way through.

Hello. You commented on my game so I decided to try out yours. Its really fund but I found a bug where I you went to the main menu and started the game again the timer would be duplicated. If you do this the game also gets a bit choppy but I do think this is very fun. Those are just minor bugs after all. The buttons hit box was fairly dodgy as well.
The idea and the visuals are great but I was frustrated at some point since I encountered a few bugs.
Everytime I respawned I wouldn't hang on the wall. I flew through multiple walls, near the blue wall but I never got attached.
Somehow you have a fixed jump height. And by doing so you've to carefully place your webs in the right positions or get to two walls where they're close to each other, so you can jump back and forth to get back to the top again.
I didn't understand the part with the green door/button. It wouldn't work for me or I didn't know how to. Except from that. Great game.
oh and, btw. downloaded version played.
Thank you for the great feedback and in-depth reply! Sadly the button is currently very hard to trigger, but neither could we reproduce nor find nor fix the issue. The Jump is meant to be more like a leap, mainly horizontal, but I understand that losing height and having to win it back again is frustrating. Thank you for playing and especially a big thanks for downloading it as well.
Hey, thank you so much for your in depth review! I'm sorry you encountered so many bugs. Did the flying through blue walls occur on every level for you?
The jump height is fixed, so jumping from wall to wall is necessary if you lost too much hight throughout the level, an approach using the camera orientation might have been better in that case, I agree with that.
Every button in a level corresponds to a green door, in order to open the door you need to shoot a net at it. The net needs to stay on the button for the button to be activated. During playtesting we did encounter a few problems with the buttons hitbox, so that mightve also been an issue.
Otherwise, we are glad that you could still enjoy our game. Thank you again for your comment!
I really like this game! Reminded by of Portal with a twist! The movement mechanic around the environment was a lot of fun to use. The timer, which sounds like it was a late addition, is a little too tight on some levels which makes it a little too difficult to complete, at least for me. :-D
Initially we didn't have a portal-esque game in mind but during development I also started noticing the resemblance. The timer was indeed added last minute, that's why it gets a little buggy after reaching the minutes. What do you mean by the timer being too tight? There shouldn't be any time limit on the levels, it's purely supposed to track your time playing.
So whenever I would press a button to turn off a green wall, it would flip the switch back again before I could reach the area past the green wall. The first two times it was used, I had enough time, but I think the third time I was getting stuck because I couldn't get to the spot fast enough after retrying it about 15 times. Haha. Totally understandable that there will be bugs and balance issues in a jam like this. You did a really great job with the restrictions and this is probably my favorite entry.
Very interesting concept and gameplay loop. Nice visuals as well, 3D is fun
A simple concept with a good excecution! It plays very smooth and jumping from web to web felt very responsive. I also really like what you did with the story.
Good game, but I also broke it (Flew into the sky and climbed out of the walls)
I loved the colours and the concept is really good, I felt like you moved a bit fast from web to web but I played the WebGL version not sure if it was due to that.
Concept is real intresting. But I couldn't enjoy it fully because of double timers (one timer is recovering another and you can't understand how much time are you playing I wanted to add also it in my game but I had the same bug haha but I deleted this feature) and I fell under a floor after a few levels. But game is realy nice and I really enjoyed these few levels. Maybe someday we'll make a game together if you want of course :), but now I have to improve my skills of programming to next level. Good luck!
Thank you for your nice feedback! Yeah, we added the timer last minute and only found out about the bug after the deadline. It still kind of works (except for the milisecond deisplay) so I suppose it´s better than no timer in the game at all. Falling under the level bounds usually shouldn´t happen either so it sucks that you ahd to restart there! We´re really glad you like the game. Also, did you play the WebGL version or the downloadable one? Since WebGL doesn´t support the Unity Video Player well some of the main content isn´t being displayed. I hope you can improve your programming skills to a level you´re satisfied with. Good luck to you too!
Cool and fun game. Unfortunately it seems that jumping through green checkpoint thing is impossible. I hit some wall every time I try.
