GODOT IS GOOD GODOT IS GREAT This is probably one of my favorite ones from this entire jam, I love how many different minigames there are and how some of them are like coding a game in real life (infuriating). Huge Congrats on your game!

Awesome pixel art and chiptune! I won with a score of 00:37.749. The only thing that bothered me was in the maze minigame it would ignore some inputs but idk how to fix that, and if I pressed on a rhythm it was unnoticable. Its hilarious how we both have similar gameplay but the vibes are so different, very nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I think I know what you mean by inputs in maze game, there's a fixed minimum delay between movements as it was expected that the player would hold the buttons instead of rapidly pressing them... Will fix it for the next update.

Will definitely check out your submission as well!

I liked the game/mini games neat ideas! also checked your other submission too great job!

Developer

Thanks! I think the other one goes a long way to show how iterating on the same idea helps build up the skill, and how having two heads results in a much better game overall.

The style, the music, and the mini-games are all well put together. I really like the details, like the signature or the boss getting angry over time.

Very great entry!

Developer

Thank you! It was a lot of fun for us too to see the game "click together" during the development.

Great Game

The pixel-art is super cool in this entry, i love the detail of the signature  at the beginning of the game! There are so many various mini-games that were made in such a short of time : it is really impressive ! My mouse wasn't detected for some of the switches during one of the mini-game, but it is probably a problem on my end

really nice game, good luck for the jam !

Thanks for the praise, we appreciate it!

I think I know what you meant by mouse issues with switches, the clickable area doesn't cover the "handle" of the switch, only the base. Will fix for the post-jam update.

Good luck to you too!

This was a lot of fun! I like all the different mini games even tho I am extremely bad at the one where you have to flip the switches. I love the character design of the worker and the angry boss, the presentation on this game is great! I think I ran into a bug a couple times on the maze game where you can spawn inside a wall and it made getting out like a move or 2 away. Really great job on this, the last level was tough, but I managed to get through it!

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for the feedback, we had a lot of fun to while making it too! Regarding the bug, I tried the maze minigame a few dozen times, and rechecked the code, and I couldn't reproduce it, so no idea what could be causing it.

Submitted(+1)

I was wrong it's not about spawning inside the wall, it seems that if you hold right while you open up the maze minigame that allows you to walk thru walls. Here's a video of it if that helps!

Developer(+1)

Oh, that makes total sense now. The screw uses RayCast2D to check for walls, and raycasts only update their state during physics frames. What ends up happening is the screw gets spawned, immediately receives input on first frame, checks for a wall, finds none (because raycast has not been updated yet), and moves into the wall. Should be fixable by a force updating raycasts.
Big thanks for the testing, appreciate it!

Super fun! Love all the different types of minigames. The colored wire one was always the hardest one that took the longest and it was super intense seeing the timer running out. Excellent work! Love the little character's walk cycle

Developer

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!

Fantastic job on your game! It was super cute, easy to understand and a great collection of mini games to enjoy as a gameplay loop. Well done.

Developer

Thanks for your kind words, we  appreciate them

Very enjoyable collection of mini games, really charming!

Some take little too long though, maybe the circuit match could be lowered to 4 instead of 6, same for the breaker switches.

Solid presentation and use of limitation.

Developer(+1)

Thanks, so nice to hear you found them charming
