First off great art and creativity of gameplay! Must have been a lot of work coming up with all the possibilities of dialogue for the characters. Personally though I don't really know how the character's dialogues were supposed to help me make a decision and I kind of just guessed but I guess I got lucky and got it right lol. Maybe you can have a tutorial screen describing the objective of the game. Other than that I really like the style of gameplay of this one, it's pretty unique from every one else's games, Good job!

Liked that this is one of the few "guess the culprit" type games here. All the characters have good designs, although I'd love it if we had a description of how they stole the whole circus!
Sup, was going to test it out later at night, but it actually ran just fine with Wine in ubuntu.
This one is pretty creative, the best so far I guess. Character designs, their lines and description, nice!
I'm not very bright so it took me 3 tries to find the culprit.
Seeing the screenshots later, it seems that Wine skipped some of those, so I didn't know what crime did they commit, so I just assumed that it was murder.. Needless to say it was hard to guess .. haha

ya theres an opening cutscne, i hope people see it, but we didnt have time to polish and fine tune the game so it would be more prevalent and players wouldnt immediatly skip

Well, there's a lot of things missing here... So I will focus on what would help with small fixes.
First, add some bgm to the gameplay, it would help a lot;
Second, improve the UI. Seriously, the UI is really important in this kind of game.

This was quite nice. The pixel art was great and the characters had some good personas. I liked the teddy bear the most XD. The conversations were cool and laugh worthy as well. Some of the dialogue kinda felt like it was veering away from the case though. A great game none the less man :)
I love detective sims. Would love to see this one with animations on characters. It would be 10 times better. Good job!
This is a great idea ! I love playing detective. Sadly with all the questions I asked, I had no idea who was the culprit. Maybe the characters should give a bit more information ? The comedy is nice, and I really like the art ! And of course, using One Is The Loneliest Number in the credits is a bonus star from me !
Hi there - really enjoyed! Very different to a lot of the other jam games :)
My feedback would be :
- Maybe worth going back over the speech to determine how much is useful to the player, it seems like there's not a way to win first time unless you're lucky. Think it would be better if we can feel more like detectives.
- Can more of the comedy come from the situation (circus) rather than each of the characters? Felt like the case and the dialogue was quite seperate
- The art is great! Can we see it used in different ways before the line up? Individual interviews?

the only thing was that sometimes the soundtrack system makes mistakes and then played 2 songs at once, that was kind of enoying but besides that, realy well done! ;)
it also did give the Humongous Entertainment feel, what I did really like about it ;D
This a cool game. Like it. The art is amazing. The gameplay is good and it was pleasant for me to play. The color palette is warm and not so harsh which gives you another feeling when you play. Sooo good job! Keep it up!!!

Nice game and artwork, good job. Shame there was no music or something during the questioning, and perhaps next time if ya had more time randomise the bad guy! took me like 2 attempts to find the right one, and then tested a 3rd time to see if it was the same one. But good job!

So about the art, i have nothing to say except : wow! Great pixel art! The color palette is cool, characters are fun. Great job.
About the sound, it's kinda sad that there is no sound when we click on something. But the main menu song is cool. Adding a click sound will be a good idea I think.
Then, about the gameplay, it's a cool detective game. I failed three time before winning xD. That's a pretty cool game guys!
