The game is about a robot sorting boxes of food in a warehouse, if you leave them alone for too long they will decay and become waste, which you have to pay for it to get taken away

Very fun, bur hard game. It was very hard to grab boxes if there is boxes around them.
I think this game might have been a bit too ambitious so next jam I'll go simpler (this might be an empty promise haha)
focusing on controls first and probably not going with transcend language if it'll be anywhere near as complex
This was interesting once I got used to it, wish I could have pushed myself between the boxes though (#´ー´)旦 it'd be hard to get to the ones I wanted if there were a lot of stock on the two floors lol
Nice job! Extra marks for using Godot lol ( ̄ω ̄;)
Cool game! It took me a while to get the idea, I did have to read the itch.io description, so maybe the Transcend Language diversifier was a bit too ambitious. Once I understood, I had fun with it though, it was neat trying to come up with the best way to organize all the boxes and efficiently yeet them into the truck. Does the game have a natural end state, either winning or losing? I at some point just decided to call it quits, not sure if that was the intention. Either way, I had a good time, great job on this game

An interesting and mundane game indeed! I found a strategy that would have kept me going forever. Unless there actually is an end screen? I broke 2000 coins and called it good there.
there's no end screen, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Then that would be my only suggestion, lol. I planned on doing endless play too, originally in A Mundane Spring there was no way to win. But from feedback found that a way to win the game made it more rewarding and fun for players. I feel your game would benefit from something similar. Still, it was fun!
Nice, simple aesthetic with a fun concept! A bit complicated and I'd love some kind of mini-tutorial, but none-the-less I still enjoyed it!
I dunno what this game is all about. A tutorial perhaps? Still - graphics and music are really nice, and the robot is cute.
Lost some trucks while trying to figure out the mechanics, but as soon as I did, I found myself throwing boxes like crazy! Also, loved the boxy robot character :D
I'm glad to hear that! May I ask how many palettes you got to when you finished?
Got them all! :D
good job!!
Fun game and great visuals, the only difficulty I had with it was getting the character to jump consistently, that may just be a problem on my end with the web version though.
you're the second person to mention that weirdly enough
Art is beautiful, sound is great, fits the theme really well, the game itself is very solid and has a lot of complexity, however the controls are a bit rough (using keyboard) I found it frustrating trying to get the boxes I wanted to grab. All in all though sweet entry.
I had bit of a hard start getting used to the controls and understanding the goal of the game. I also feel the game as a bit of a pacing problem, since you spend a lot of time waiting for the truck to either go away or comeback.
I like the art style and the color palettes.
yeah, I feel like I could have added a 'hurry up' button to the game so you can tell the truck to leave sooner or go back sooner
Yeah I think that would be a great addition.
I don't think I'll really be working on a post jam version, but if I make something similar in the future I'll try to do that
Quite fun, although I definitely suck at it. Only notes are the decay bars seem to overlap if you put a lot of boxes next to each other, making it hard to keep track of how far each have decayed, and the in game instructions could be a bit clearer.
yeah, I tried to go with 'transcends language' but maybe this game wasn't that fit for that, as for the decay bars, I should've probably made that a bit better too yea
Really strong entry! At first it was a bit confusing but when I got what is going on, it was a lot of fun! Really like the graphics and the menu system! Very creative!
thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it, the game could've been a bit clearer but I think it came out alright
Really nice work with the page too!
thanks, I spent most of today on it, after getting all 30 palettes in haha
The music is fast paced and the art is really good fit as well. The addition of all the color pallets is really cool and is a nice feature. Didn't really understand what to do at first other than unload so I think the help graphic could be a little better, maybe some arrows just to show it a little better. The jump is buggy and you have to spam space bar to have a chance to jump (webgl at least). Stacking the boxes and throwing them is really fun though and fixing the jump (in the future) would do a lot. I ended up 18 pallets. Overall nice job!
I never experienced any issues with jump myself, but it could probably have done with some coyote time yeah, I'm glad you enjoyed your time with it!
It's not the lack of coyote time, it's just that the robot doesn't jump always when I press jump.
it should, that's strange
maybe you're not 'actually' on the ground according to the game? I don't see what else could cause that
Made a quick video (you can hear the space button being pressed but there is not always a jump)
huh, that's weird, I have no clue why that could even happen
