I really enjoyed it, the sprites are so cute, I fell in love with Vedal's, I was afraid that it would mean I'd be penalized but it ended up great, he ended up drinking all the rum we ran into. It's pretty cool that events have different outcomes for your party composition (I think)

Thank you so much for checking it out and for the kind words!! (': and yeah the events change based on the character, so while Evil has the best combat stats, she currently benefits the least from events (and can even get insta-killed at the start by the clappers event!!) meanwhile Vedal and Neuro enjoy events quite a bit haha

Also, I love Vedal's sprite as well, big thank you to my crewmate GrabThatBread for the amazing art in our entry!!

Very cool and interesting game! Still need to beat the Time God but I’m sure I’ll do that soon

Love it. Very replayable! The characters are cute and cerbers are OP :D

I remember playing your other game for the first gamejam. It plays just as solid and I like it. As it was said by others, imporving UI could help. Music is fine but the artstyle really catched me. Your team worked well!

I am obsessed with this game. I min-max'd my strategy so hard that I almost had enough attack power to take down 2 time gods in 1 turn. It's such a refreshing and innovative take on a game as well. Absolute props! 10/10

Developer

Thank you so much for trying it out and for the kind words!! I pivoted to this from a different idea I didn't love as much early on and I'm really glad to hear it worked out this well, makes all the grind during the jam worth it (':

Perfectly balanced.

as all things should be. 😌

Thank you for playing it! lol

Played the game! I really like the fog system, it limits the moves in a game with lots of options, so the decision-making is important. Character art is Heart. Super excited to see what characters are in the game when exploring.

Would be great if you continued working on this after the jam! Would love some UI Improvements

Recruited 2 Evils, farmed every enemy node then one shot the final boss. Very cool.

This game is a lot of fun!

I tried a few different strategies before finally beating the time god with Evil and 2 Layna.

I think this is my favorite game of the jam, I played it 5 times now, thank you for this!

Wow this game was soo fun, I ended up playing for so long trying a bunch of different teams

This kind of surprised me. Like, I actually loved playing this game, it reminded me of FTL and felt extremely strategic. There was actually quite a wealth of interactions despite the 3-day limit and also the music was a bop! Great job <3

I loved this entry it was really fun to play! I beat the Timegod with a Evil, Cerber, Anny team where we would sail around for the digging spots.

Digging for heals would buff our health while Cerber did all the damage by the end I had around 30 health and was doing 40 damage. :)

Never played this kinda fog of war game, it was pretty fun! Probably need to understand how it works better to defeat the time god at the end, wonder how to make that work ahah

It appears that once again you created an incredibly fun, enjoyable and addicting gameplay with a really cute visuals and nice background music. It's fun to discover different team compositions where crewmates synergize. My favorite was probably Evil+Camila+Cerber. Really good job!

Developer

Thank you for checking it out and for the kind words!! :D GrabThatBread who is the artist I worked with did a fantastic job on the art and music and helped with various ideas (like the sky turning red over time!!). We pivoted to this from a different idea halfway through day one and I'm happy with how the game turned out despite the lost time(':

Very nice game idea, the art is great too

Ran Evil, got 2 Camilas, one shot every enemy I came across. 10/10 would sail again

Developer

Glad you liked it, classic Evil & Camimi build hehe

It’s the kind of game where once you get what’s going on, you just keep playing. There’s a lot of variety in the events, and their combinations, which liked. The hand-drawn art was really cute, but I first though I have graphical issues with the rectangle waves. Overall a solid entry!

vry cute!

Biased review: Best game ever made there's stats and boats and everything looks cute
Unbiased review: My stacked crew got one shotted by some lunatic called Jack Avery and his dank ass ship I will never forgive

But for real, awesome job, love the gameplay (some Ship of Fools inspiration maybe?), immediately addictive and brought together by super cute renditions of stream friends and all manner of fiendish sea creatures.

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it!! Haven't played ship of fools but the drafting mechanic is maybe inspired by autobattlers. Captain Jack Avery is a real historical pirate btw!! Neuro mentioned him on stream once, I had an idea of putting them both in a game ever since haha
