This was so much fun!! It really did feel like a complete action puzzle platformer - the level design really impressed me. Difficult but fair challenges that build upon previous ideas well. The switching between Evil and Neuro is very cool and fun to use. Movement feels clean.
My only real issue was the control bindings - it took quite a while to get used to them well because they're in a very awkward position compared to usual platform or action games. In particular, having space be jump instead of up while having dash be shift is not intuitive for me.
Either way, I loved this! Super fun and well put together game with cute spritework! The final boss animations looked great especially to me.
My time was 28:29
I got stuck on the first room with spikes for quite a bit, I think it's because of the difficulty spike and also the controls are perfectly fine for easier jumps but could be a biiit tighter if you require precision. I felt like the game sometimes missed my inputs when I tried jumping and walking off the edge at the same time. I'd add an extra check, if the player was standing on the ground a few frames before. You should still allow them to jump in that case.
The game has nice mechanics, I didn't realize at first that the health of the other twin regenerates when she's not active, that's a nice touch. I'd add the ability to attack upwards when holding W
The boss fight was a bit too long, I'd make it hit harder but have less health :)
Very nice game, keep it up!
Holy heck, what an intense and beautifull platformer/action game.
It's just good. Feels good and it would feel better if I could use a controller instead of trying to use diagonal dashes with keyboard.
You made an awesome game.
Thank you for making it.
Interesting mechanics, sort of reminded me to Celeste. I might need a bit more skills to finish it, but I could imagine someone speedrunning this.
Unfortunetly I couldn't finish this because I got stuck in a wall.
Overall this game was pretty fun, It has good pacing, you never do one thing for too long(good balance of light platforming, puzzles and combat).
Edit: I've played the game for the second time and this time didnt get stuck. It was pretty fun. Final boss feels a little too tanky for me but was cool anyway. I really liked the pacing. This game was cool.
Thanks for your feedback! Do you remember where you got stuck? And have you tried to press 'P' to reset the room?
I didn't know you can press "p" to reset the room, I got stuck in the big room where you have lots of buttons and gates and you have to seperate evil and neuro. Basically gate pushed evil into a wall, and once you are in a wall, you can't get out.
But I've played the game for the second time and this time completed it without any issues.
Pretty nice game, liked the switch mechanics!
I absolutely loved the game. Genuinely very good stuff.
well executed platformer! i love the sprites and art, really amazing work. the switching mechanic is very interesting and fun, feels smooth to play. good job!
Very cool platformer! Love the switching mechanic!
I feel like the controls are poorly distributed (or maybe I'm just not used to playing like this).
I really liked the replica mechanic!
platforming and puzzles generally feel good. combat feels quite awkward with only being able to attack forward
Amazing game!
Reminds me quite a lot of Sanabi.
The final boss has wayy too much health though, I ended up having to use an autoclicker cause I was getting tired of spamming left click.
Had a hard time with the controls at first, but very cool ideas and good execution.
Wow, that was lengthy. Love the puzzle but the platforming was just pure pain. Also nice spriteworks.
