Does your game contain AI-generated content?
No.

How does your game fit/incorporate the theme of the game jam?
In the game, an old forgotten version of Neuro goes rogue and gathers a swarm of drones and robot dogs to destroy humanity. It follows the theme as the version of Neuro you fight against is what is left of a past version of herself.

I think the battle system is really cool! Would be sick to see it in a more fully fledged game (':

It’s a cool and simple game. The strategy is pretty simple

The art is neat! IMO it would work better with a non randomized set of units, as the randomness can throw the balance out of whack. Either way the vision is there and it is an interesting base you can build on!

Developer

Yeah the idea was to have a few levels with hand picked sets of enemies, and shops in between each level to buy new units for yourself. I was gonna still use a little bit of much more controlled randomness to give it more replayability, but the completely random units that are implemented right now were a last minute thing as I ran out of time. I'll try to follow through with my original idea after the voting period ends. Thanks for the feedback :)

Fun battle system! I liked the pixel art, the combat is simple but effective. I enjoyed!

Thanks for playing!

It seems a bit too easy. You can just spam attacks of every unit while moving neuro right and left. Graphics are simple and cute and I really appreciate the simplicity of the game. It's a cool little game but it seems a bit undercooked.

Developer(+1)

I didn't have time to do much balancing in the end and the units are completely random right now so yeah unfortunately there isn't much need for doing any strategy in it's current state. Thanks for playing though.

After getting familiar with the controls, this is a pretty interesting game! I felt the combat satisfying, kind of like playing a board game. I could imagine a multiplayer version of it. Also lovely art.

Developer

I did feel like multiplayer could work haha, might be something fun to try in the future. Thanks for playing!

Cool game! Combat is interesting. If you had more time, it could have been quite nice turn-based game. Good job!

Developer

Thank you :)

I am the grand master of drone combat.
Defeating the enemy was piece of cake for me.

Turn-based strategy is very ambitious, but it turned out great! It took me a while to figure out that I could move Neuro as well, but after that it was just a matter of leading the enemy on a wild goose chase, while my army bombarded them into pieces.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I'll probably keep working on this after the jam and add a proper tutorial so you don't have to just figure it out haha 😅

cool turn-based strategy game! pretty barebones but it works. good job!

Developer

Thanks!

A unique spin on turn based tactics games.
Its a cool game but you need to give it a few moments to understand how it works.
Would love if the game gets expanded for abit, like being able to select units, more rounds and probably a tutorial round.

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I wanted to add more rounds and a tutorial and in general polish things up more, but this was my first time making a strategy game so I ended up taking way too long to implement the basic mechanics and ran out of time haha.

fun gameplay loop once you understand it, i like the art, good job!

Developer

Thank you so much!

Kinda confusing at first but get the hand of it.

Developer

Unfortunately I didn't have time to add a tutorial, but I'm glad you understood in the end, thanks for playing :)

The art was really cute! The strategy element was slightly undercut by the limited options, but I did beat it on my first try. Excellent work.

Developer

Yeah I was hoping to add more options to make things more interesting, but I spent a lot of time implementing what I had and didn't have enough time left. Thank you for trying it out though!
