Description
This soundtrack takes a lot of inspiration from Nintendo games like Kirby Super Star and the Mario Kart series, but the style varies wildly between tracks. These were all created in Logic Pro X.
1. Moon Man
The Moon Man's duty is to reel in the moon at dawn, and to let it float back up into the sky at dusk. During the day, he is free to watch the Sun Pilot drive the sun across the sky, and at night, he watches the stars. However, he is not free to be content forever. As the sun gradually runs out of fuel, it gets dimmer and dimmer, causing the seasons to change. When the sun's fuel is completely depleted, the Moon Man must break off a piece of his beloved moon and make his way across the sky to the sun, so that the power of the moon can refuel the sun and life on the ground can continue.
2. Temporary Paradise
When the sun is new and full of energy, all humans and animals live in harmony, for they have no need to hunt each other when blessed by the full strength of the sun. The humans celebrate this temporary paradise, being sure to enjoy every last day to its fullest.
3. Harvester's Bittersweet Goodbye
As the sun's energy begins to drain, the leaves of trees turn spectacular colors, making one last attempt to stay in the minds of passerby before they die. Humans harvest their crops and livestock, knowing that they wouldn't have survived anyway in the upcoming seasons. The joyous harvest festival juxtaposes the looming notion that much harder times are on the horizon.
4. Frozen Resolve
As the sun's energy nears empty, a layer of snow blankets the ground as plants and animals struggle to survive. The humans sing songs of determination and solidarity from the centers of their villages, determined to outlast the cold.
5. Super Flower Blood Moon
When the sun's energy is completely gone, the world is enveloped in chaos. Forced to abandon his beloved moon, the Moon Man begins making his way to the sun to set things right again. The moon's influence, now left unchecked, invokes horrors beyond the comprehension of any mere mortal.
6. Until Next Year
When the Moon Man finally reaches the sun with his piece of the moon, the world begins to recover from the throes of chaos. Although things are still chaotic, the humans rejoice in the knowledge that only good times are ahead. At least, until next year...
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
Both the game's story and the soundtrack itself revolve around the seasons, and every track (except for "Moon Man") corresponds to a season (summer, fall, winter, the blood moon, and spring).

Wow. What a musical feast. I really like "Until Next Year".
Moon-theme solidarity! love the variety of the compositions, and the productions realll nice. the pixel art for each track is a nice touch too. "Super Flower Blood Moon" is buck wild! In the best way.
side question: is that you playing sax? It really sounds like live recorded sax rather than midi. Regardless, it really elevates these tunes!
It's actually a midi sax with extra reverb, Logic's built-in brass instruments are surprisingly realistic. One of these days I'll learn how to play the sax for real lol
Glad you enjoyed the music!
gotcha! yeah agreed, I also use Logic and their midi instruments blow me away sometimes
Super diverse, awesome collection of tracks. I'm getting hints of vaporwave (like I'm analyzing a sip of wine :D) , that sort of 90s influenced, jazz, electronic, laidback style, common in PSX, early PS2 stuff, love that sound.
I see what people are saying about Super Flower Blood Moon, very cool track. Sounds like it was complicated to put together, hats off.
A real wide range here. My favourite was Moon Man. The sax really makes the track!
Moon Man: so nice and smooth, love the sax. Temporary Paradise gives me a 90s sega sort of vibe, definitely feel myself riding on a jetski under the midday sun :). "Harvester's" is a good follow on to this theme, and I like the call and response of the sax and synth-like instrument. I like the connection of the pentatonic melody between the different tracks. I really dig the flower blood moon: frenetic drums have a real Aphex Twin vibe and combination of crazy chord progression and jazz reminds me of Earthbound. I could hear a little nod to Dolphin Shoals: love it :) ... there is so many cool ideas packed into this track :) Awesome job!
some pretty cool ideas here. I loved the jazz influenced songs the most.
One thing I want to point out is that the volume level for the 2 middle tracks dips pretty hard in comparison to the rest of the album - at least the sound cloud versions.
Yeah, by the time I noticed that it was already too late to fix it ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Still glad you enjoyed the music!
these tracks were a mad rollercoaster and I loved every minute.
so much contrast and drama, and super satisfying.

Very well executed, definitely can see these belonging to a game. As others have said, Super Flower Blood Moon does get hectic!
So glad I listened to this with headphones. Every track was unique and high quality. Love the slow panning as well.
Dude. Super cool concept. Each song embodies a season very well and I like your flexibility in genre. I like the jazz elements the most though lol Moon Man is my favorite. Super Flower Blood Moon is CRAZY.
i love the vibe to these, great stuff!
I liked Super Flower Blood Moon as much as everybody, but I also really enjoyed the chanting/singing in Frozen Resolve! "don't give up" singing is best singing
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was awesome, super well produced and very dynamic. The instrument choices go a long way!
Super Flower Blood Moon! Omg this totally reminds me of flowey from Undertale and the maddness that ensues after the first playthrough is finished
Thanks! That's pretty close to the vibe I was going for
Me : *Listens to Super Flower Blood Moon*
Also me : *See ya Super Blood Space Cowboy*
Super interesting and unique approach to the theme! Super Flower Blood Moon is a chaotic masterpiece
