Description
Tracks composed in FL Studio.
The premise of the game is that you're a detective hunting down a murderer but the clues the murderer leaves behind are specifically meant for you. So, by the end you confront this killer through a series of murders that he's committed.
so, a mystery detective game.
Track 1. "Nameless Monster" - Title theme of the game.
Track 2. "Inside My World" - The detective received a call that would change his life forever. The murderer had targeted two families prior to the current attack; however, this time, the victims were his own family. (This Would be the first cutscene.)
Track 3. "Confrontation" - The detective is finally able to isolate this murderer but with no backup available the detective has to confront this killer alone.
Message from the artist
This is my first OST Jam and I'm new to composing but I had a lot of fun making this. Excited to see what the other submissions sound like.
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
When I saw "Inside My World" I thought of it as a sad theme, so I tried to stick to that for what I was making.
Once the first cutscene is finished you're, in a sense, put into the detective's world. Catching this criminal is your main objective.

very cinematic, i thought these were really beautiful compositions that fit well with the descriptions. keep up the great work!!
I love the dark quality of the sound, perfect for the concept!! Also it sounds really cinematic!
I'd like to know which VSTs you chose for the string part.
GREAT WORK!
The feeling of melancholy and sadness that you create in such a short amount of time is so captivating, i think the Nameless Monster theme was probably my favourite!!! Your harmonies really helped add to that emotion and feeling as well, I'm very interested on what sort of music inspires you because some of your choices sound familiar but i cant place them in my head. Super well done!!!
Minimalist, yet epic, and really well orchestrated. Hard to believe you're new to composing! Beautiful work, top marks!
I'm Impressed by moving dynamics and modulation! I think you have spent a lot of hours perfecting all the bits, sacrificing quantity in favor of quality.
Wait you're new to composing??? Please let me know how long have you been doing it, I started in June and want to know how long i have to work until i can spit out a masterpiece like this OST.
For me this is at the top of all jam submissions. What a moving and beautiful OST, I'm utterly amazed and followed you on Soundcloud immediately!!
Very cinematic and pretty!
Tthis is so soft and cinematic, it literally sounds like a classic detective story. Great work!
And no way you new to composing with all those automatisations and dynamic)
Very atmospheric and emotional music.
Nameless Monster - I feel sorry for him.... Why doesn't he have a name? Then how do you wish him a happy birthday?
Inside My World - Oh. I felt all the pain on the detective's soul. It even got a little heavy in my chest
Confrontation - Epic!
Overall, I loved your soundtrack! Thank you so much!
P.S. is this your first jam? Awesome! You guys are good at it
Nameless Monster - Very neat and pretty title theme!
Inside My World - Really giving me an oldies, like one of those very old cartoons/cartoon movies vibes at least those strings are really like how they sounded, what library did you use for them?
Confrontation - That build to that drop sounded AMAZING, really big and full sounding!
Amazing Work!
I like the tone of this, it's a bit rogue compared to the rest of the submissions and I think the expressiveness makes it really stand out.
awesome job here! it feels so emotional, especially that last track! everything just feels so somber, which fits so well with the story you have! great work overall!
I like that it is kind of a sad theme, which is kind of creative. Contrasting to other entries.
Nameless Monster - Very expressive piano and cool harmonies. My favorite from this OST.
Inside My World - Loving these swells.
Confrontation - Grand ending track. I would have loved to hear some bigger percussion here but I know its easier said than done. Still has a climactic feel either way!
This is really good for being new to composing! Hope to see you next jam. Great work!
lovely harmonies here, and super unique - love the simplicity and tunefulness of Nameless Monster, and the string voicings in Inside My World are top notch. the orchestral swell to finish out the OST is really well done, and i love the suspenseful ending! solid work here, i just wish there was more of it!!
The noir theming makes for a creative and unique entry in the jam, really cool stuff. The fact that you're new at composing is super impressive, if you're having fun you should definitely keep pursuing it, you're on the right track!
Thanks! I would love to compose for games in the future although currently there's still a lot for me to learn when it comes to this whole thing but doing this jam was super fun and I plan on doing more stuff like this too.
Man this is beautiful... Amazing composition. You captured the noir aesthetic so nicely without it feeling like old. Sample libraries are also great. Amazing work!
Thank you so much! I really loved your submission as well but thank you for listening.
Liked the composition in general, well done. We can really feel the emotions moving. Last piece was supposed to be the big climax, we can feel it but I'm sure you can push this a notch further and make it even better with more "punch" to it. Good job
