Description
Genres: Ambient/Experimental

An analog horror game, where you are an employee at a grocery store stuck in the dairy cooler. You're always alone on your shift, hearing nothing but the whirring of the fans and the light thudding sounds of the doors closing when customers grab products. It's too hard to see through the glass to tell if anyone is really there.

"Are they really there? I can't make out their faces. How long has it been since I've been here? I can't remember. I've got to get out of here."

Each track is titled for which part of the game it is for.
Use of Ableton 12, with Serum, Rift, Thermal, Movement, Portal VSTs

Theme

Inside my world

How does it fit the theme?
The awful feeling of being watched but never seeing what's out there. You are alone with only your thoughts, can you make it out?

Love the game idea. I also love the cover art. Gives me a lot of Iron Lung vibes which I feel is kinda what you were going for.

so great job!

you've created a great psychological horror atmosphere with your soundtrack, great job!
you have great ambients and i can definitely see this within the exact game you were trying to depict. if i was playing this kind of game and THIS was the soundtrack, i would respectfully crap my pants. especially during "chase!" in other words, this is a VERY nice analog horror OST.

great concept! keep up the good work!

Stuck forever working retail? THE HORROR. Seriously though, great ambient work! The percs in "Search" and "Chase" a crisp as hell.

This reminds me a lot of “LSD: Dream Emulator”, super creepy and unfamiliar vibes. Very analog and experimental sounding. Well done!

Can I be honest? I am amazed at the effects work... You've got a great horror soundtrack! I love it!

Clicked on your twitter and lost my whole comment :(

Long story short, your music reminds me of early 2000's  zombie movies like Shaun/Dawn of the Dead.
Super spooky, you did a fantastic job!!!

Wow!!!! That was really special, I love the feeling of almost serenity I got from it purely from the sense of unchanging in the song, and how that same sense of repetition created the feelings of anxiety that made this so engaging to listen to! I don't know if you heard this before but some of your choices really reminded me of some of the more surreal entries in Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion DLC, which is definitely a different style but I think you both use the similar concepts to create incredible stuff. Good shit!

I would love to have the game please, like right now! What an incredible atmosphere you've set up here. Really nice work!

Super cool PSX indie game vibe! You captured a great atmosphere with really cool unique sound design. I do wish there was a little bit more going on in the ambiences but honestly in game I think the droning nature of this OST wouldn't be much of an issue. Great entry and you deserve more ratings!

ahh yes i thought about that too with doing a little bit more! but then i thought about how in game there would be all the character noises of like walking around, breathing, etc that would add to it so i didn't want to do to much lol
thank you for enjoying !

I'm not gonna lie, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to take a title like 'The Milkrooms' seriously... happy to report you've blown that expectation out of the water! This is awesome!

Really digging the creepy atmosphere you created with these. Makes me wanna hop on a 616 game. Great work!

This is super tight. All of the tracks are cohesive and feel like they belong in the same game and they all have the same kind of foreboding, ominous and ever-present tension in them. Reminds me of games from the PSX-era with the slightly more contemporary approach to sound-design in the lead. Crunchy basses and off-kilter sound effects, drones and warbling to keep the listener from ever growing comfortable in their environment.

Genuinely a great mix of tracks, and a very unique submission for the jam. Kudos!
