  • GDD The pace of the document is good. Good with images for mechanics. Nice with art theme interpreation and color design Game The game loop is very relaxing. Nice! I enjoy the fact that it is not stressed with countdown and whatnot. The game does give that very potioncraft feeling and yet it is different. Sadly i died too quickly because I didnt have enough stuff to craft the potions / runes.
  • Good GDD, I loved seeing the details and plans. Very cool! The ideas and foundations link very nicely to the game jam, and the underlying themes are mysterious & magical with a cool soundtrack! Thoroughly enjoyed my little play through. Feedback: Implement a training section to the functionality behind the game. (How you move build potions, what the ingredients are, how you use the shop etc) Add item descriptions to the items in crafting window The game is nicely laid out and thought out, please keep going with this. I would be very interested to see how you implement new items and upgrades to the shop & potions :)

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?

Tell us about your game!
Wizard Village is a potion crafting roguelike where you manage a potion brewery shop. Manage your inventory and find the right combination to make cure your customer from shadow curses !

Extra Notes
I originally intended to end the game after day5 (after a hard week of work) but didn't had time to finish the game as I went on vacations so it currently breaks on day 6

The webgl build created a strange scritch in the theme audio :(

I'll handle those concerns in a few weeks, in the mean time, please enjoy the game :)

This is such a fun game, and the amount of polish is amazing too, the smoothness of the animations and movement, the artstyle, the music *mwah*. Something that i noticed is that the multiplier never gave me 4x in the scoring even if I reached that part of the bar next to the cauldron. Either way it felt great to play. I love the easy to grasp potion brewing mechanic that becomes a pretty fun puzzle with limited ingredients.

It's like a simpler version of Potioncraft. It took me a bit to understand the icons, but overall a decent experience.

Really reminds me of Potioncraft! Relax playing while trying to overcome the challenges! Really cute art style and nice music as well. Good job!

I really liked the UI and puzzles. Really fun and very cute!

The play is pretty intuitive, being able to see where the potion falls as you're building it creates a nice idea of how you can manage the resources between supplying customers and having to restock. The control to brew the potion was initially a bit confusing, as I was trying to click the cauldron with my ingredients which led me to dropping them (no five second rule for spilled mushrooms?) but when I got a grasp on just dragging them over the pot it was pretty clear what to do! Nice work and excellent art style, the performance of the game was great, no big bugs or issues loading!

Sound design is so juicy and on point! Kudos! Visuals are very pleasing and charming. Making the best potions you can while also trying to save ingredients for next customers is challenging enough and fun, makes you think and strategize.
The potions make a bit too much money I fee like, since I could just empty the shop almost every time. First time in shop I had fun trying to think about what I can buy so that I have all the directions covered and so on, from the 2nd time on I just bought everything.

Simple and fun game with charming style, can't go wrong! Not terribly hard once you've gathered a good stockpile of ingredients

my better half likes this very much

You want to continue playing this game just to listen to the SFX of the satisfied customer :D. I love the music and the simple, but very polished graphics. I went to day 4-5? Then I thought it was a little repetitive, but that's more about my personal preference. Maybe some additional narrative to other days would spice it more for me. Like in each +1 day you get more important customers from more rich people, politicians up to let's say sultan :D.

I adore the game mechanics to this.   When i realized that some of the potions could also move the villagers request dial, i already knew how awesome of a puzzle game this would be!

The art style is incredibly charming  and the instructions were easy to follow along.

I only came across one small issue, and it's that my ingredients will fly out of my hand unless I hover them specifically over the middle of the cauldron.    Other than that, awesome work!

Wow really nice mechanics and  i keep wanted to play. I had a bug in round 6 - the clients didn't want to come and the other time i skipped and and the game wouldn't continue

You've done an excellent job at building the mechanics and transitions, making the game feel smooth and logical. I would like to see a bit more of a deviation from the reference material, as the game as a high similarity to potioncraft, both mechanically and thematically. A stronger implementation of the shadow theme would also be good. Nevertheless, great implementation and amazing polish. I'm amazed with what you've accomplished given your time frame!

I really like the art and minimalistic color scheme! Very pleasant to eyes!

Amazing what you managed to pull off in 2 weeks, am in awe!!!

Please continue this and release a full game :)

I love the hand-drawn look. You accomplished quite a bit in two weeks! Took me a few tries to get the hang of it, but overall well done!

i like it, great concept and style
the only real critique i have is that when the audio track loops it blares a white noise sound out of my L satellite speaker for a tenth of a second

Love the artwork.

Making this game for a week is crazy! I really love the alchemy implementation. I would play longer if the game was more days, because it's really relaxing grabbing ingredients and see where the result goes.

Good job! 10/10

I am absolutely blown away by this! Extremely polished, very unique gameplay mechanics and charming art! Everything about this is great. I will say it can be a little confusing understanding what ingredients are best to buy early on, but that is remediated a few days in to the game. Fantastic job, I aspire to make something as great one day :)
