- Very cute game. Not enough substance for more than a few minutes of fun, but boy are those few minutes cute. Very fun to throw things around, would like the AI to have actual pathing rather than going directly at the player. Needs more of everything, and slightly better hit reg, and the win condition to be more clearly explained without guessing or reading the description. Good job on your first project in Godot!

Summarise your game!
You are a Kobold sent by Kob-tapult into the town with a bomb in your backpack. It is a quick 30-second to 1-minute game where you run around a small town trying to destroy thing and pick up as much stuff as you can carry before the timer ends. If you get hit, the items in the bag fly off, and the townspeople can retrieve them.
You can find and carry 1 shield at the time. Each shield have a certain HP shielding you from a few Hits.
Keep track of what you carry. The more stuff you have the slower you get.
You can throw some Items to slow towns folks or blind them temporary.
If you get hit with an empty bag, it's game over, and you get kicked out of the town.
Annoy as many people as you can, with fish and tomato, destroy all the furniture, collect food, gold, and weapons and get away with it.
It is a Hit and Bomb game.
Use the arrow keys / AWSD,
Use Right click or the scroll wheel to select the item from the bag and click to throw Items toward the Mouse cursor from your backpack. Try to hit towns folks it will apply different effect to the people hit. (rock stunt, Tomato blind, etc...)
Drops are automatically picked up when touched.
Avoid the townsfolk, they will try to corner you and Kick / catch you.
If an Items is drop or thrown the townsfolks will pick it back up when getting to it first. Gold and other specific items could distract them.
When the timer end, the bomb explodes, if you have the minimum number of items required in the bag, they will shield you from the explosion, and you are then sent flying back home with the remaining items in the bag.
You will use these items to upgrade the bomb, the bag, and the shields.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Being a walking bomb already armed with a 60 sec ticking is way being a weapon. On top of that, he has been a nuisance destroying towns with his bare hands. Just don't stand next to him when the timer runs out.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
I hope you appreciate the minimalist graphics, style, and gameplay. Perhaps you will enjoy the brief story.

Very fun loot and scoot video game with a time limit. The art is honestly amazing. I like that different items do different things and that it feels random. Hilarious concept well executed in a bite sized format for maximum pointage.

I really like the main character design. I feel this game would work much better if it has more variety in challenges, maybe there can be multiple levels with puzzle elements. Currently it feels to simplistic and short.
Thanks for the review ^_^. Yes, I was planning on making mutliple level and more enemy type to add chalange. But I ran out of time, i should blame my artist who spent to much time on the programming and music and testing ( it was me :p ) it was my first jam, but i plan on updating it after the jam over ^_^
Pretty fun! Hitboxes could probably stand to be a bit bigger, but the concept is very enjoyable.
Yes some hitbox need some additional ajustement.

"minimalist graphics"? this is far from that, the art and how they move and interact is really nice! also my favorite line is "MY CABBAGES!!"
I had to make that one XD... destroying the cabbages and vegetable stand was a must!
Fun little game. Had fun for quite a while. Nice! I think the game feels great, dragon is cute, simple enough but not too brainless, pacing is not bad too. Feels like more can be done and the game would truly be remarkable! Something like upgrading and extending the timer for better scores maybe?
Speaking of scores, it's the one that I still don't understand. I still managed to get 24755 or something after a few tries. Maybe convey a bit more on the scoring of each item, and it should incentivise players to get a better score.
Also, I regularly get stuck by the broken remains, and it doesn't feel great when you get hit when being stuck. Not sure how to deal with this one, but I think it need some thinking.
But enough said, you've done a pretty good job! Keep up the good work.
Yus i know about the geometry, some 2d body might need some tweaking for the collision.
For the score it is mostly base on the damage done ( solder hit by items thrown, structure destroyed manually, and a huge boost by the damage done on the final blast. If you manage to get to a place not destroyed before the end, everything around will give a huge combo)
The items in the backpack that survive the final blast would be use for upgrade... but i ran out of time for additional stages and upgrades.. this is my first jam. But i think i have a base for something ^_^

Really short, but charming as well! It was fun to be chased around while just causing mayhem and wrecking everything I touched. Although the game lasts 30 seconds, it is a good concept. I'm not too sure of why we have dynamite on our pack, but who cares? It go BOOM! The controls are swell, the sound design is spot on and the AI is well implemented. Love the art as well, I'm guessing you could put a lot more focus into it since the gameplay is really simple. Overall pretty good! Wish it was longer (or could have more than one stage) 7/10 would KA-BOOM again.

You packed so much personality into such a short game! The art is so cute and high quality.
I had a great time skedaddling around, and the idea of breaking into a camp to steal as much as you can before exploding your way home is so so kobold-coded, feels like the perfect D&D side-quest to me.

a very cute game, with a fun and simple concept. The little dragon and the animations were so cute, and I LOVED the voice acting on the guards. Very silly and fun, solid Jam Submission!
Always a sucker for destructible objects!! T'was quite a cute little game, 10/10 would blow up again.
I love the art work and the end animation is AMAZING! This also includes the sounds/music and animation.
I played this a few times and the high score I got was 189. Lots of fun though!
i am glad you love it ! .. If you survive the 30 sec with a bag filled over the green line you will get another ending! the 189 will do about x100 on the score ^_^

Nice work! I'm always a fan of games that allow me to play as a monster or something else unconventional, like a cute little kobold. Seeing them on the cover immediately drew me in. The concept for the game is also a pretty neat idea. I never would've thought of it

Really like the idea for this! The game feels a bit unintuitive at first, maybe a tutorial area could be a good addition to help smooth the player into the flow :)
I was planning to make animated graphic to explain the game mechanic but I ran a bit short on time so i settled to a text description ^_^. Thanks for the feedback! I do plan on making multiple area and town. And definitly more enemys type.
