Great great game, my favorite so far. Very simple and yet very polished. The only thing I would change is making a small/short die animation or transition, it feels weird that the high score instantly pops up. How on Earth did people manage to get those scores!?!

Great game, really addicting hahaha Nice work. I loved the colors and gameplay. I'm on 105 on rank ;-;. Is the leaderboard online?

May you rate my game too?

The controls feel super solid! You have the perfect amount of stretch in the flail and it feels pretty easy to use. Whacking a bunch of enemies away in one hit feels so satisfying. If you were going to continue working on this, I would definitely add lives so the player can take at least one hit. Also music is a bit choppy for me, I think that's Godot's webplayer though.

Hi. Really nice concept. I liked the design, the slasher feeling while beating enemies. Cool.

Fun. I'd sad that it can get pretty easy to dodge if you just get the flail to be on one side of the player, and just stay idle for a while. That part can use some harder implementation of punishmet, I feel the spikes coming from off the screen may be too infrequent. Could have been more frequent.

Really fun game! Super satisfying flail mechanic and overall well polished. Maybe add extra lives for the player? It was a bit annoying to die from one hit. Amazing job!

Really liked this game. Kept want to play just one more round. It was fun to learn to master using the flail and after a while you could swing it exactly where you want to which felt really good. When moving at low speeds, it does feel a bit silly though. Knocking enemies away with a light brush of the flail doesn't feel quite right.  Also, the spikes mechanic can be quite frustrating. The most fun thing in this game is when you're standing in the middle of the screen swinging the flail around at a fast speed and hitting enemies as they come onto screen. The spikes ruin this flow by forcing you to one side of the screen very quickly. You lose your rhythm, you're given less space to swing around, and you're closer to the edge, meaning that enemies can get to you quicker before you can hit them away. All of this adds up to basically mean that when the spikes come out, you need to change from having fun swinging at high speeds to moving slowly and carefully which isn't as fun. But yeah, I seriously loved this game. Great art, music, and gameplay. Well done.

Thanks for such an in depth criticism! It’s good to know there are obvious, easy changes to make in the game. I’ve gotten a lot of feedback that the spikes are a hinderance to the fun and I think that is just due to a lack of play testing. Same goes for the flail killing enemies at slow speeds. Relatively easy changes but I’d never know without everyone play testing. I’m glad you liked the main flail mechanic because I’ve been wanting to make something like this for so long. I’ll definitely be updating this game and hopefully make it worthy of a fun mobile game!

About the spikes - Just try to calculate an balance the spike area. For example - when spikes come from left, they take about 30% area, and it's ok. But top and bottom spikes take about 50%, so it becomes really difficult to spin and keep doing combos.

the art is very cut and it feels smooth to play

awesome game. took me a couple of plays to understand the border thingy. got to 39100 score.

This game is so fun, I managed to rank 25 in the leaderboards (Right now), The dodge mechanic doesn't have much pressence for me, it feels more like i'm counter-attacking enemies imo, all in all nice entry and visuals.

Nice! I liked the gameplay, maybe too hard? (You could make the flail bigger, or make the enemies do damage per second to the player, instead of one hit KO). The visuals and sound are great!

Fun concept! It took me a while to get used to controls. I kept expecting the flail to have some gravity and hang below me. It felt very light for being such a heavy weapon

Great concept, and pretty fun. The spike walls are unfortunately pretty harsh when trying to learn the controls.

Regarding previous comments my feedback would be to make the spikes a little less tall, and spread them apart, maybe make them a little more random in-between? perhaps play around with it, also i need more swing-age!  otherwise really cool.

I like this game, it has a really good mechanic, i just don't know why the spikes are covering half of the screen and coming every 5 seconds

Thanks for the criticism. I guess I didn't playtest that much to be annoyed by the spikes. Would you say its the frequency they occur, or just the spikes being there to begin with. I thought the game needed a little more challenge, but I may have over done it a little.

I think the spikes would be better if they entered the screen in a smooth four step proccess "warning" "show tips on the side" "1/4" "1/2" that way you get more PUSHED by them rather than instantly killed if ur not on the right side
