Very fun and cheeky game about playing bouncer to a monster mash. Highlight is by far the character art which works so well, especially the surprise of finding normal people lurking under the costumes when fake. I really like the idea and it's always a joy to find creative ideas like these interspersed through the jam.
Thanks for submitting No Humans Allowed! to the jam!
Good concept and implementation! Random is sometimes very disturbing when playing 6 people in a row, but overall the game is very fun and the visuals are good!
It's a nice Papers Please-like but without the pressure which is very welcome in a jam environment. Loved the music and the attention to detail with changing it's volume when letting someone in. I ran into a minor bug where the same vampire appeared right after I just let him in (maybe not the exact same, but same name and house and right date, so I let him in as well) and then for a third time but with wrong Date this time. Nonetheless, really enjoyed it, great job in such a short time!
Thank you so much for playing and leaving a comment! :)
Nicely done. Fun concept. I find the little scream when they fall fun.
(Side note. I played the game two times.. Both times it was 9 humans and one vampire, what a club..)
Thank you! :) Yeah as I wrote to someone else, the current "randomizer" seems to favor humans a lot.... good for the "wine cellar inventory" .... :D
I made a video of your game. It's at the 5:18 mark of this video.
That is awesome! Thank you for playing! :)
The idea is not new, but it is well implemented for a game jam in a short time! A small game of good quality!
Thank you for playing! :)
The vampires were very cute and I loved the sound of them falling into the trap door, or going into the club and closing the door. You did a good job with the system of having the multiple things we needed to check. Additional nights and expanding ideas like you showed on the game page would be awesome. Love Paper Please style "detail bureaucracy" games. Thank you for uploading~
Thank you for playing and for leaving such a nice comment! :)
Wished there was a little more to the gameplay but other than that it was a nice game.
Thank you for playing! :)
It was a nice game like not my neighbour. I got the hang of it after I lost 2 times. Tho a good thing is what happens when you spam buttons cause I broke game when pressing the green button alot (not breaking more like alot of vampires comming).
The models are good (glad they all weren't the same) very simple low poly stile. Nice game for sure.
Thank you for playing! :)
That was a nice little game. It took me a while for me to understand how it worked, but once I did, I was able to beat the game.
I had to reject a ton of humans on my successful run. What is up with them? Don't they know that the vampires will drain their blood on first sight?
Thank you so much!
Haha yeah the current randomizer seems to favor humans a lot.... good for the "wine cellar inventory" though....
I felt like a was working for Vampire Government! Nice game
Thank you! And thanks for playing! :)
nicely done, its a cute game. it took me a second to figure out the correct way to match the information but once i did, it was easy to understand. would love to see this expanded on
Thank you! Yeah idea was to have some sort of guidance in the game but we ran out of time :D
Liked the game, interface is well made. Reminds of Papers, Please!
Thank you! Yeah we were definitely inspired by papers please :)
Fun! First time trying the "ID Checker" type game. Especially liked the animations on the vampires as they walked up. Seems like a really solid foundation to build on if you keep developing.
Thank you for playing! :)
Took me surprisingly long to figure out how the system works, but I managed! Sadly my first successful night was one where I let 0 customers, these humans are bad for business I swear. But it was fun to listen to them drop down when pulling the level.
Nice game, good work.
Thank you! :)
