I have to confess that the chase at the end was a bit difficult for me because the character slips a bit and has the animation of him stopping running, but that's the fun of it, I found that detail interesting. I really loved the look of the game, as if it were CGI from the PS1.
You've done a great work ( ̄︶ ̄)/
Character movement felt pretty good to me and the environments were well done. I really like the retro art-style and the subtle lighting was great, it felt a lot like an early PS2-era game. The torch wasn't too bright which I liked as it made everything a bit spookier and harder to navigate. Awesome that you put that intro cutscene together to set the scene too.
Scary! The 2D art and 3D models are well done and have a consistent style to them. The audio is nice on the ears while also providing the game a scary atmosphere.
Solid game 👍
Great submission! I love the intro, the gameplay is fun and tense, great work!
Loved the aesthetics and the music (it reminded me of "Granny"), they create a great atmosphere!
The player can leave the classroom without taking the flashlight and since it's locked, be without it for the whole game. For me the text at the beginning was a bit fast to read, maybe it would be good to add "click to next dialogue" or a little more time
Overall great work!
Thank you, Azul Mousseigne! We're thrilled that you enjoyed the aesthetics and music—we aimed to create a spooky atmosphere, so it's awesome that it reminded you of 'Granny'! We'll definitely work on fixing the flashlight issue to ensure players don’t get stuck without it. And we'll make the dialogue timing more flexible so everyone has enough time to read. Really appreciate your feedback!
Nice short game! Took a little to find a way to get past the monster through the hallways. Even the hiding spots didn't really save you if he was still chasing you which was also pretty cool! The only criticism I have would be that the animations seem slightly sluggish so when you're giving input to do certain tasks like hide in the lockers or pressing shift to run, it feels like there's a delay. Aside from that, pretty solid!
Loved the low poly untextured aesthetic, and the music was great! Found the gameplay a little frustrating as it was very hard to determine which way the monster was going.
The story progressed quickly from interrupting class, to corpses in a hallway. I only wish there could be a faster replayability. The teacher's postures and hmms (don't know the verb in English) are funny.
I enjoyed the choice of language options, even though I don’t know Spanish, and the retro style and design that reminded me of classic horror games like RE and SH. The sounds, creepy jumpscares, and additional mechanics like pushing cabinets were great for building tension. The retro-style cutscenes, especially the ending credits, were a standout, and I’d love to see even more of them. As for areas to improve, I’d suggest marking exits more clearly, adding more freedom to explore rooms, and making it clearer when to run from the monster. The flashlight could also be more useful, perhaps by stunning the monster temporarily. Overall, it’s a fantastic game with an amazing retro horror feel, and I’d love to see even more depth in level design, cutscenes, and potentially new characters to save with their own stories. Thanks for the great experience!
Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! We're thrilled that you enjoyed the retro style, cutscenes, and mechanics like the cabinet pushing and jumpscares. We appreciate your suggestions about marking exits more clearly, adding exploration freedom, and making the flashlight more functional—those are great ideas! We'll definitely take them into account for future updates or projects. We're glad you enjoyed the experience, and we hope to bring even more depth and new elements in the future. Thanks again for playing!
