How does your game implement the focus, Multi-Use?
I created an ability that will be only be used once every 10-15 seconds and the player will have to choose between getting health or 2x damage from it , (I'm not sure if this could count) also , the pistol you're using can kill your enemies and can be also be used to clear up your path from objects (other than enemies) I promise you this isn't a spam game , I put all my effort into it and I hope thats enough :D

All the music in my game belong to an amazing composer DavidKDB , The tilesets also belong to Tilation everything else including sprites animations level design are done by me (Both people mentioned are credited twice ingame , and once in the description with links to their itch.io accounts)

All art and audio were just chosen/made during the jam

This game really gave me Hotline Miami vibes, super fun arcade like shooter. The time slow mechanic also felt great when weaving through enemies. The enemies shooting through walls did feel a little unfair, and my game did crash about halfway through the third level (I was playing the downloaded version). Other than that, pretty solid start to a game, I think a little more polish and you got something amazing here!

thank you for playing my silly lil game and I'm surprised it somewhat gave you hotline Miami vibes , most of the complaints are about the AI its on my to do list after the jam with alot of fixes and balancing aswell , also I'm not sure about the crashing issue but I added a level select menu and you can play it again or skip right ahead of anything like this happens , thanks again for playing glad to see the developer of Balmy Pass talk nicely about my game truly makes me happy! really nice game! beat 4 levels until i died and then the level decided to not exist anymore lol
also, you can kill a lot of enemies by standing far away and shooting

thanks alot for playing my silly lil game tbh the aim was that every enemy type had its own range the largest detection range is the enemy holding a rifle , also you could still switch to the last level through the level select if you want , Thanks alot for playing and I'm glad you liked it! :D

I absolutely love this game. I'm not that much of a gamer at all and it got me determined and focused on winning.

Also the enemies being able to shoot through walls (which I assume is a bug) created some sort of puzzle aspect to the game where you have to go just close enough to draw out an enemy then run away so you're not shot through the walls  but you still get a kill.

Enemy fire through wall is a bit unfair, but the game is fun! XD

It's kinda hard avoid being hit, maybe slowmotion could affect enemy only?

The game has a good feeling, especially the shooting, and nice visuals. Good job!

It's a fun game. Great feel and impact to the shooting. Movement feels good. I personally liked that it was difficult.

Only improvements are the ones mentioned by other comments; some balancing, some bug fixing, and more content.

thank you for playing my game I did put other issues in mind and they're on my to do list after the jam I'm planning to expand it and add more things to it hopefully , glad you liked it , I intended it to be difficult so the player is forced to use slow motion and the ability that either heals you or gives you 2x (in case you didn't see it its in the left corner if the screen can be used once every 10-15 seconds) Thanks alot again for playing my lil game and I apologize if there was any issues during your gameplay!

Nice one! The movement and especially the shooting felt pretty good which is important in a shooting game. Well done! The balancing is a bit off like the enemies projectiles that are way too fast for my taste which made it almost impossible to dodge. I also think the slow motion mechanic would work much better if instead of holding down a key to recharge it, which takes out the speed of the game because you have to wait, killing enemies would recharge it or even better enemies would drop item that recharge the slow motion. This way you would need to jump into the action to get more action and it could be a nice risk vs reward system. But overall a fun game with potential :)

thank you alot Marcus I'm really glad you tried my game and "kinda" liked it , I know most of the complaints are from the enemies but believe its my first time attempting a shooter and the AI was hard for me to maintain I also discovered glitches and bugs with it after exporting and not during playtesting for some reason (didn't playtest properly) I apologize about your experience with the game and I'm glad you liked some aspects of it , thank you again for playing fam :D

Very nice feel to this game. Shooting just feels very nice and the action feels exciting!

I think that it needs some balancing, because there are a lot of enemies and no way to heal. Also, the enemies could shoot through walls sometimes. But congrats, it's a solid game and it even has a bad ass boss at the end!

Nice game! I enjoyed it. However, enemies could shoot through walls sometimes and overall the enemy AI seemed kind of weird and buggy. Another thing is a didn't really get the "Mutli-use" aspect of it. The movement and shooting was really well done though, and the overall experience was really fun. I would appreciate it if you could play and rate my game as well!

Pretty fun! Very smooth controls, nice visual effects when firing the gun, satisfying sound effects (although, as you note, somewhat too loud). The action gets pretty furious pretty quickly.

The environments look snappy, but a bit more variety would have been helpful. Sometimes the enemies appeared to shoot through walls--I'm not sure exactly what was going on there. Also, enemy pathfinding would get stuck pretty easily. I used the slow-mo ability a lot, but it's hard to say how much it really helped me.

Thanks alot for your feedback and I apologize about the experience you had with my game , its my first time attempting a top down shooter and I probably messed up alot of collisions the slow motion ability was also my first time trying to make one so I kinda messed up on that one too...truly sorry for your terrible experience playing my game!
