Well this game certainly subverted my expectations! I didn't read the whole description, so I only saw that it's a road crossing game where crossing the road doesn't score you any points, so I thought maybe the goal was to purposely get squished. Glad I didn't read the whole description since I ended up being surprised and thought it was really funny that the cars would end up avoiding me and crashing into each other, with the goal actually being to cause as much destruction as possible.
Out of interest, how did you make the music? I've been interested in how to make interesting sound effects from fundamental synthesis for a while now but you seem to have executed the sounds really well for this. Do you also have any recommendations when it comes to making sound effects in this kind of style?
I often use Shirobon's serum preset pack when making music, it has some really nice sounds https://shirobon.bandcamp.com/album/shirobon-presents-chiptune-for-serum
Aside from that, I also sometimes use some free/cheap chiptune VSTs like ymVST and Peach

The game's really unique. I mean when did you see something like this in "cross the road"? (obvious inspiration)
Also I made a car run over a child which was morally questionable, but really funny!

Playing this game was pretty fun. A very interesting concept and a unique twist, along with nice art, and audio made this a great experience for me. I think you did an amazing job on the jam!
This was really fun. First I thought "another cross the road game" but no, this was something else. Loved it. also the sound when they run over people is just nice :DD
I enjoyed this one, got a high score of 3260. Was satisfying when create a build up of cars in the middle of the road. On my first playthrough I didn't realise there was a second road haha. Great visuals, like the music and overall a great effort!
