the only bad thing i have to say about the game is the levels need a bit of polishing, like you could of done 5 levels easy, then ease into the harder levels, otherwise great job! art and music was great

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I agree the difficulty could be toned down quite a lot, but it's pretty short game so I thought it was fine, but I'll be sure to keep that in mind. I'm glad you liked it!

Good game but the levels get too hard very soon.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I should have probably balanced it out more, appreciate the feedback :)

Fun game! Controls are snappy, almost no idle time on death, polish levels are crazy satisfying (and +1 for godot!). Congrats :D

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you so much! I'm happy you thought it was good! Hehe, Godot gang ;)

I enjoyed the concept and the level design was appealing. Nice Work!

If possible, I would appreciate your feedback as well :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I'll be sure to check it out :D

It was a lot of fun the game looked really nice for being so simple looking the platforming was great and I spent way to much time trying to fill up the final room.

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the visuals. As for the final room, I'm really happy you liked it :D

This concept is generic but the theming is not. I love this! Sounds are excellent, the game feels impactful, the soundtrack was cute, the movement was clean, just all-around good fun :)

However, some of the levels weren't that great... Roof-heavy levels are kind of annoying.

Developer

Thank you! I'll keep that in mind :D

This game feels really professional and polished. The juice is really good, it feels good to play. I found myself getting frustrated with how it works with death -- the idea that a death can be good or bad by enabling or blocking your progress it cool, but the problem is a misplaced body can force you to restart a run that took 10 or 15 deaths to reach that point, which is really frustrating. In a normal platformer dying isn't a big deal since you just restart and need to rerun the level once, but here you have to rerun the level 10-15 times placing your body just to get back to the point where you were, which kills the momentum. Not sure what the right fix is, and your game isn't the only one with this idea that has this issue, but it did annoy me here, I think more than on other games just because this game is so polished and feels good to play in every other way.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback! I agree, I've gotten other feedback similar to this and I'm not sure what the right fix should be. Possibly a checkpoint system that respawns you in a new location if you get far enough? Well, if I keep brainstorming I'll find the best solution sooner or later. Thanks for playing! Hope you enjoyed it :D

This game easily has one of the most professional and polished feels out of the games I've played. Also, thank you for the bonus room at the end. Great job!!

Developer

You're welcome! I'm happy to hear how polished you think it is :)

Great juice and game feel.

The sound effects became a bit grating after awhile.

Nice and short with lots of polish, impressive for a 72 hours gamejam

Developer(+1)

Thank you :) I'll try to solve that sound effects issue, if you think they become a bit repetitive.

super juicy and polish game, i wish there was more levels but overall really fun game

Amazing job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you :D I'm thinking whether or not I perhaps should make a post-jam version with more levels, but no promises :)

I made a giraffe... I think. anyway, I had too much fun with this.

Developer(+1)

Woah! That's so creative! It does slightly resemble a giraffe. I've never seen anyone do that before :0 Thanks for playing my game!! :D

Seen a lot of games with the idea of corpses as platforms, however you did it in a very fun way. The aesthetics are unique (innovation isn't always mechanical) and the platforming is the smoothest of the games I've played thus far (and I've rated over 70 games). Amazing over all, great platforming game!

If you can, please consider paying and rating my game :)

Developer (3 edits) (+1)

Wow! I'm so glad to year that! It means a lot to me. I'll play your game soon :)

Looks great and there were some smart puzzles in this. I experienced a lot of audio stuttering which brought down the sound score a bit but otherwise awesome job.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I know about the bug with the audio stuttering, worked fine honestly for me before exporting. Then after exporting to browser the audio just kept stuttering for some reason. It's weird but I'll look into it. Thanks for the feedback!

Visuals are really good! Simple yet very charming! I have seen several games similar to this concept in this jam, but this game is the most charming one I've tried so far! :) Nice!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! It means a lot to hear that!
