Probably one of the most polished games I played here yet. Great Graphics and Animations!
Thank you :D I'm happy to hear you think it's very polished!
If you build a few more levels you could probably already release it! ;)
super nice, I love the graphics
Thank you! I'm happy you like it :D
I loved the idea that its not your typical "jump on your corpse" game but also if you place the corpses "wrong" you cannot win. This brings an extra "skill" element in the game which makes this very fun and mixes the elements of platforming and puzzles! Lovely design!! The controls and sound effects feel very satisfying! Very well, done. One of my favourites of this jam!!
Wow! Thank you! I'm really glad you liked it so much! It just feels surreal to hear that it's one of your favourites from the jam. I'm honored!
Really...Good...Game!!! I like the art, i like the controls, i ilke the sound...anims are perfect and the concept is also good ;)
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!
I like the level of polish and the subtle animations. I felt like some collisions were not working properly and the character had too much inertia
other than that great job!
Thank you for your feedback! What collisions are you referring to? Corpse collisions with the ground, corpse collisions with other corpses, spike collisions with the player, etc? Also by inertia, I assume you mean the character sliding on the ground. It felt fine to me in my playtesting but after seeing your comment, I think I may have added too much inertia. I'll remember that, thank you!
I like the gameideal a lot. The only flaw is that the controlls weren't really responsive which resulted in a lot of accidental deaths, level restarts and frustration. Maybe don't let the character silde that mutch. A little bit is OK but not too much. Overall a very good game.👍
Thank you for your feedback :) From my playtesting, the character felt a bit slippery and good to control, but seeing some feedback about this, I'm starting to think I may have overdone the slipperiness. I'll keep it in mind, thank you!
OMG, loved it so much! The graphics are nice and simple (although I noticed some stuttering here and there, but nothing serious). Thanks for the gift :)
Thank you :D You're welcome! If I may ask, what sort of stuttering are you talking about? Like the game freezes?
Of course! I noticed that sometimes the pixels break here and there(more specifically on some tiles), that happens when the camera isn't pixel perfect, I hope that helps!
I loved the graphics, just as a note, there were long sections where I didn't need to use the main mechanic, and if I did die I would have to reset.
Thank you! Glad you liked the graphics. I assume you're talking about the sort of 'staircase' in the final level? I didn't have much time to really playtest and polish the level design of that level, and playing it now does feel a little tedious dying and restarting from the very beginning. I'll keep it in mind going forward, thank you!
You're welcome
I loved the graphics and the game in general! Keep it up!
Thank you :) I certainly will.
Great game ! i love the aesthetic, the music and sfw, everything fit perfectly together
i loved what you did with the theme ! i had some struggle with some hitbox and had to reset a couple of time but i had fun nonetheless :)
Thank you :D Honestly the thing I was most worried about for my game were the aesthetics, settled on this style and I'm really happy that you (and some other commenters) liked it! I tried to make the hitboxes not too big, but listening to your feedback makes me think I didn't make it small enough. I'll keep that in mind!
Great game! I enjoyed it. I think it fits the topic perfectly
Thank you :D Glad you enjoyed it.
Really really well made! The sound effects and movement were spot on, I really enjoyed playing. Well done and nice job!
Thank you! I'm happy to hear that! I spent half of the time really polishing the player and the movement!
I had a good time with this one, short and sweet. its a shame some of the levels can soft-lock you after putting in 2 minutes of work or so X)
Thank you! I know, it's meant to feel a little puzzle-ish but sometimes it does feel a bit tedious/frustrating, like being softlocked.
Very asthetic graphics, I had the same idea but didn't do it, but thats how I would have done it! Great Job!
Thank you! Glad to hear that!
It's done really well and the exact thing that understand under this Jam Topic.
Thanks :D I did think of other ideas but I always came back to this one!
I really like the comic-book-look and the sound effects!
Thank you! It was simple but I'm happy to hear it looked good to you :)
I love how this game takes a simple twist on the theme and executes it so well. The art style, sound design, and gameplay is really polished.
Thank you! Quality over quantity, am I right? 👍
Absolutely loved the game the sounds were amazing and the graphics were great. I hope I get as good as you one day.
Thank you! I'm sure you'll be a great developer, so don't worry about it!
I liked the paper aesthetic - It looked really good!
Thank you! It seemed simple enough, so I gave it a shot :D Glad to hear you like it!
Classic and sweet little game
Good Work!
Thank you! That's what I was aiming for!
