Very cool! I think it would benefit from a restart button. For a while, I wasn't sure what to do until I accidentally found the double jump button. I think something saying you can double jump would be good. Maybe I'm missing something tho
The audio and visuals for this game are really nice! Since the main obstacle is time, it'd be really cool to add a lot of upgrades that allow for fast movement options. Also, it'd be nice if there was like a self-destruct button so the player can restart quicker. Or even better, put some spikes or hazards near the key items and upgrades so the player has to put in a little work if they want a quick restart.
Very nice game!!! Sound so cool and beatiful visuals!
I love it! the music, graphics everything is so good!
Pretty smooth! The pacing and controls were nice. The art style was pleasing as well. I liked how the things you picked up floated around you.
Genuinely loved this! Really well polished, visually appealing, and really fun!
If I *had* to find something to criticise, it would be that the double jump pickup wasn't very clear. I didn't realise that's what that pickup did until I accidentally double tapped the jump key.
Really impressive, great work!
You're right, a huge oversight from my side - it just goes to show how important playtesting is in the video game industry!
The game is awesome in every way possible the game is also good for speed run
This is really impressive!
I love the aesthetic. Takes me back to playing Gameboy Color games as a child.
Definitely reminds me of Minit, but more Metroid and less Zelda.
The level design is phenomenal. I love how the zones feel distinct, and how you show the player that they can double jump.
It's going on my wishlist for sure.
Thank you so much for this amazing comment!
Cool art and I like the mechanic of having a fixed amount of time and then dying and going back to a central hub, but still keeping anything you've picked up along the way. Neat stuff!
Excellent little game. Had to play it to the very end. Nice art and music, and simple concept. Well done.
Very cool idea, I loved exploring the world here and figuring out how to progress. Good job!
AMAZING! the soundefects were amazing, the metriod vania design was super good, and the art of all of the charecters were so cute! I cant wait to see this realesed on steam!
also if you could give my game a play that would be cool :)
Hey! Great little metroidvania. Tbh, it is one of my favourite genres, so I enjoyed playing your game. Keep it up and good luck with your full game!
Wow that was the best Wowie jam game I've played
Awesome! Wishlisting the game right away!
Very juicy game! Maybe one of the juiciest in the entire game I have played so far. Colors are vibrant, sounds are crisp, and nice Sega genesis music. It's definitely better than what I made.
I just think it needs more gameplay, I'm not really a fan of walking from point A to point B with a key to a door, I think it needs more variety. I am getting Minit vibes from this because of the timed death mechanic, but from what I've seen I don't think the game benefits from it. If the game didn't have it, I don't think I would miss it.
Fun mini-metroidvania, reminded me a lot of the game Minit. Great art and I liked the variation of the different areas, really helped remember specific areas that needed certain items (the tree area springs to mind). Sound and music were solid, though the SFX sounded especially loud. The footstep sound was the worst offender of this, and started to get grating near the end.
Great game feel, great presentation and overall a great submission! Good luck with your Steam release!
Hey! I have a tiny bit of feedback for your game: add a "Quick death" button. The more time you play, the longer it takes to die and after I do something, I really don't have enough time to do the next goal/objective after I already explored a bit or did one goal/objective. Therefore, a "Quick Death" button would be nice ( such a button would take you to where you spawn with full "Power" ). Awesome game.
Nice game. Wish you luck on making the full game
This was awsome! i had alot of fun playing it!
