The physics are so janky I love it, it’s simple and fast to build, really good for failing-fast and trying out new stuff. Graphics reminds me of some older SNES games, good work.

I love this!!! Physics based games are awesome and I like that you can build so much variety with only 5 parts!!
One nice addition might be scroll to rotate (and maybe auto zoom-in when you build / zoom-out when you play)
Also snapping rotation to 5 degree increments and not resetting the rotation for the next part might be good additions. Otherwise a fantastic game with so many different levels!!
Thank you! I will definitely consider these changes to the controls, appreciate all your comments and feedback. My one concern about auto-zooming is that I’d like a way for the player to be able to see the whole map while in build-mode so they can plan for the terrain, but maybe that can exist as a toggle somewhere in the build menu.
I loved the visual design and music for the game. It made everything very playful. this was a very enjoyable entry. I think if you where to continue working on this game, having more parts you can put on the car would be cool, idk. Great entry.
i love the 100 rocket car i built and i will get to work with it eventually :)
Congratulations on the great game! It’s really fun, and the variety of strategies you can create to complete a level makes it highly replayable. The art is also very pleasant. I just didn’t understand if it’s intentional that I can simply drag the character to the victory point and still progress because that slightly undermines the experience. But even so, the game is very cool, and everything was executed really well in the project. Great job!
Thank you for all the kind words!
The drag and drop of the character to the victory point is a bug. Unfortunately I did not catch that one in time. I have a fix ready to go for when the jam voting period ends. This is my first jam, so I’m not sure what the rules are around pushing a fix before then and don’t want to break any rules.
Great submission. The rocket makes this a little too easy in the early game. But it was quite fun none the less.

this is a beautiful game. 10 out of 10. frank got to work on a rocket and had the ride of his life. i can not express in words how life changing this game is.
This game is so fun! I don't know whether its the glitches when messing things up or figuring out the puzzle thats fun but I really spent a lot of time trying to figure out different ways to end the game. Great job! I wish they had a "fun" category in the ratings this would've been my top rated.
Wow, this was an incredible joy to play. I forgot that I was playing a 'game jam game.' Absolutely incredible what you accomplished, and it was hard to pull away from it just to write this comment :) The art, sound, and game mechanics are great and lots of fun. Nice job!
I just know everyone's going to spend a lot of time playing this game because its so much fun!! I am trying to assemble a perfect vehicle to pass every level with a single one
So I figured out that apparently you can always just finish the levels by dragging the old man to the end instead of building anything lol
Still fun to mess around with the building mechanics, good job!
very simple, always love to see these type of games for this theme, cuz i made one too! its a lot more simple than yours but it gets the job done.
Also i DIG the classical feel with music and graphics, its almost like an old 90s pc game hahaha
Check mine out since were pretty similar, and if youre on discord id love to talk about how both of us did it when making these style of mechanics
I love this game, the mechanic is very interesting. The game is a lot of fun. Great job!
