The idea and the bosses are really cool. I think it's interesting to throw a ball at the boss and then have to go get it again, and I like that each boss has a completely different attack pattern, so you have to wildly adjust your strategy and expect the unexpected.

Overall, I really like this game, good job!

(Also if you have a free moment, I would really like it if you could give me some tips on my game, I'm planning on remastering it and possibly selling it on Steam, so any input would be greatly appreciated)

Attacking is really smooth and it looks cool. My only criticisms are a lack of dash immunity and a small glitch that killed me several times. The beam attack is cool, but not being able to dash through it makes for some awkward positions. Additionally, there is a glitch at the end of the beam attack where the boss returns to locking onto the player just before the laser dissipates. There were a few times where I maneuvered around the eye and as the animation ended, it would instantly turn towards me and beam me.

Overall a really cool game, good job!

I really like the story and the idea. It's fun to bounce saws off of walls and hit the boss, however, the bosses might have a bit too much health.  Additionally, it's strange that things like arrows can deflect a saw larger than a person, against the knight that became somewhat frustrating as the knight would not only shoot at me, but shoot my own saws back at me and I had to slowly bounce saws off of walls and hope it hit him. That would in theory be a good fight mechanic, but he simply had too much health.

Criticisms aside, this is a really cool game and I can tell a lot of passion went into this, good job!

I really like this game, there's something so satisfying about hitting the boss, switching direction, and hitting them again in a loop. The only criticism I have is that it's unclear when I get hit. I don't know if it was removed or there's some kind of glitch, but there are no healthbars. I remember playing this a while back and there were, so I'm not sure what happened with that.

Overall, a really cool game, good job!

The idea is REALLY cool, and the vibe is really nice too.

Overall, a really cool game, good job!

The game looks AMAZING and the spinning mechanic is really creative. The only criticism I have is that it feels a little unintuitive releasing a projectile from orbit. Normally, it should release in the same way it's orbiting, (imagine a catapult), but when I release, it loses all momentum and goes straight ahead. This could just be a me thing though.

Overall a REALLY cool game, good job!

Wow... just wow... That might have been the coolest thing I've experienced. The FX, the SFX, the difficulty, the mechanics, just wow... the only criticism I have is that it has to be continued, and I can't just buy everything now. This is definitely steam worthy and probably a contender for 1st place. Good job!

The graphics might not be the best, but this is REALLY fun. Especially when I get hit and then have to figure out which dimension I've been punched into.

Overall, an AWESOME game, good job!

I really like the creativity, typing words to cast spells is a really good idea. My only real complaint is that you can't aim down, so if you're on the top half of the map, you just have to slowly walk behind the boss.

Overall, a really good idea and a really cool game, good job!

The game is difficult but it's still fun, the boss attacks are really cool and create a lot of chaos, there are quite a few things you can buy, and while the graphics aren't the most complicated, they're really nice. I personally am not a big fan of roguelikes but I still really like this game.

Overall, great game, good job!

This game definitely has my favorite visuals, the monochromatic scenes just have something so charming about them, and the characters/bosses have really cool animations, especially the melee for the player, it just feels so satisfying. The story was also pretty nice too, and the music fit incredibly well. My only criticisms is that I can't really tell what I can walk on and what I can't , I'll be chasing the boss (because I really like the melee) and suddenly hit a wall and have to find my way around it.

Also, I don't blame you because it's somewhat uncommon, but there is a glitch for higher screen ratios where the people who speak never disappear, it doesn't show up during gameplay, but when I return to dialogue I can tell there are about 5 people layered on top of each other.

Overall, this game has a lot of charm and I really like it, good job!

The music and visuals are simply stunning, they capture the vibe so well, and the bosses are interesting and while predictable, are also somewhat challenging. This game is very well made.

Overall, a phenomenal game, good job!

The visuals, sounds, and overall gameplay are AWESOME, however, there are a few things I don't quite understand and aren't explained, such as the circle in the middle of the room. I also like how each boss has their own backstory, and I really like the "lifesteal" system.

Overall, a REALLY great game, good job!

The game is fun and the idea is REALLY creative. The only critique I have is that the movement feels a bit weird, the snake never seems to face the direction I want it to and I basically have to run into the boss to actually hit them,

Overall, REALLY cool game, good job!

The idea is really cool, but the game felt kind of slow. I constantly had to find a station to recharge after shooting maybe 5 times, and if the nearest one was destroyed, I had to slowly wander over to find another one and hope it doesn't get destroyed the second I start charging. The bosses felt somewhat slow, but the gameplay for the player was much slower. I would recommend speeding up everything (especially player movement).

Overall, a really great game, good job!

I really like the visuals and the soundtrack fits perfectly, the movement feels really good too. However, it's a bit difficult to maneuver around the boss as when I try to spin a box at them, I end up running directly into them or into their bullets. I would recommend adding some kind of immunity while spinning.

Overall, this game feels really cool to play, good job!

This game looks and feels REALLY cool. I know it's a small detail, but I really like how time stops when you switch masks, and it overall feels really polished. Unfortunately, it crashes when I die, which reset my progress. I also really like how each mask has it's own unique power, and you can't really substitute one mask for another, forcing you to constantly switch and get acquainted with them all.

Overall, a REALLY cool game, good job! I hope you place high!

This game feels like it was ripped straight out of Steam, it's insane how polished this is. The art is awesome and the bosses each have their own gimmick and challenges. This game is REALLY cool, and I wouldn't be surprised if it won the whole competition. The only criticism I have is that the music feels a bit too calm, which messes with the vibe slightly.

Overall a breathtaking game, good job!

THAT IS A REALLY COOL PREMISE

I really like the artstyle, the animations look really smooth and punching has a nice sound.

Overall, pretty cool game, good job!

This is such an amazing idea, using quantum spin for the theme is not only creative, but extremely interesting. All I really understand about this game is that a quark has spin and the first boss was probably radioactive, but now I'm curious as to what everything else is. The bosses were well thought out, I assume each have real world counterparts, and it was really fun to fight them.

Overall, REALLY great game!

An AWESOME game, the graphics, gameplay, and bosses are all steam worthy.  I also really like the emails and world building. Each boss has something unique to offer and having a time based charge up was a really good idea, not only do you have to fight all of these bosses, but you need to stay calm enough to time each charge perfectly.

I refuse to believe something like this was made in less than a month, it's incredible. Really good job!

This game is REALLY cool, however, the boss is difficult in all the wrong ways.

The player feels clunky, one attack feels like it takes several seconds while the boss can perform an attack in 5 frames, additionally, it is annoying that the only unlockable attack is the one the boss can spam infinitely if the player is far away, or spam just an obscene number at any time, especially while the player is waiting for the attack to finally hit.

This might just be a me thing, but the dash should also be a different key, as "f" is right next to "d" on the keyboard, so to dash, one has to let go of one of their 4 vital movement keys and really needs to focus if they want to dash right.

I apologize if this seems somewhat negative, I fought the boss an obscene amount of times before I finally beat it so I still feel a bit of rage.

The positive notes:

- The boss looks REALLY cool

- The arena looks REALLY cool

- If the player wasn't so clunky, the boss's move set would be really fun to fight (I would recommend a faster attack that does less damage, that way the player has to get in danger more often to get a hit in, then can dodge the unlockable attacks)

- It captures the rage of Dark Souls quite well

- I am REALLY glad there is a lock on option

Overall, an AWESOME boss fight, it has a few issues, but it's still really engaging and quite a challenge. Good job!

I really like the vibe,  but the boss felt a bit easy, and I'm not sure if this is intentional but the screen just turned black.

Overall, a pretty good idea for a game, needs some tweaking and building, but it's a good foundation. Good job!

I was pretty confused as to how to play, I got through the first boss (the cat) because I figured out you could just wait and as long as I didn't move I could slowly chip away at their health. As most comments suggest, a tutorial would be appreciated.

I REALLY like the art style and overall vibe, and from what I did understand the mechanics are really cool.

Overall, this is the basis of a really cool game, good job!

I really like the idea and vibe of this game, but I can't really figure out how to actually fight the boss. I get that you were probably trying to make it difficult, but every time I lead the goblins away, I come back to the boss to see if I can get a few hits in, but there are already more goblins and I get mobbed. It's also really difficult to actually damage anything. It feels like I lose all momentum right before I even touch the boss and end up doing 2% damage and then get mobbed.

This has the capacity to be an AWESOME game, but as it stands it feels somewhat unfinished.

This game is REALLY cool, the only caveat I have is that the game felt kind of slow while the skills and bosses were more suited towards a faster pace. The easiest way to fix it is just to up the player (and bosses) walking speed. Another slight hangup are the controls, I'm personally just not used to arrow keys and they felt quite a bit weirder to use than wasd, and "c" is kind of an odd attack button.

Also... EIGHT BOSSES!? I KNOW a LOT of time and dedication went into this game

Overall, this has more than enough capacity to be an AMAZING game

This game is so unbelievably creative, letting the player customize the boss is not only an immaculate idea but also really hard to implement I imagine. The gameplay is also pretty fun, but it feels like it lacks nuance, even though the gimmick is awesome, it can get a bit repetitive just dodging and shooting up.

Overall, a REALLY cool game, good job!

This is overall a REALLY cool game. Only thing is, I'm not very good at aiming, and the healing orbs were pretty hard to hit, but that might just be me.

On another note, the gun sound could be improved, everything else about the game feels and sounds powerful, but then it just sounds like a paintball gun. Additionally, the game could have leaned more into fast melee attacks, like the first boss, when he pulled out a sword, it was really fun and entertaining dodging all of those orbs and keeping him at bay. However the second boss FELT like a pretty good boss and I see what the intent was, but there was too much emphasis on the orbs, especially the chasers. It IS in fact really epic that the tentacle guy spits up this huge attack, but after the first time it gets a bit more annoying than terrifying.

Overall, AWESOME game, needs some improvements, but with some elbow grease, I'd say it could be steam-worthy

This game is awesome, the bosses get exponentially more difficult, the controls are simple, they're all CATS. This is no doubt my favorite game I've played so far. It's really fun and the music choice could not have been better.

Really cool game, I really like the visuals and feel of it. Although, it did take me a while to figure out what each space meant I still don't know what the purple ones mean

The sounds are awesome and the gameplay is pretty fun.

My only suggestions are to add music and maybe a way to shoot up (If you plan on continuing the game of course, otherwise, good job!)

I really like the birds art and animations, but the game is a little unintuitive as it took me a while to figure out how to beat the sign and while the bird looks really cool, it's not clear how to fight them.

REALLY good job on making this in 7 days tho!

Interesting take on the theme, I'm not the biggest fan of the sound design (I like the alien noises, but the hum of the UFO gets pretty annoying). Overall, pretty fun

I cannot put into words how cool this game is

I like the artstyle of the game a lot, and it's pretty fun

However, it does get a bit stale after a while, if you have the time, see if you can make it so that closer to the end, another boss appears and makes it really chaotic.

Also, consider adding music or SFX, it's not as important as gameplay, but it would be a nice touch

Good job, I really like the feel of this, and I think it's really creative to constantly have to mentally switch between wanting high numbers and wanting low numbers

This is a pretty creative take on the theme, I really like that you can just "machine-gun" whenever you're facing the boss, but it comes with the downside of having to focus on perfectly timing the attacks.  Good job!

This is REALLY cool. I love the vibe and I really like how the mechanics work and the bosses feel.

The only criticism I have is that the SFX can get annoying after a while because they're really sharp noises, but I imagine that's part of the feel. Good job!

I might have just missed something, but I don't know how to get rid of the controls ticket at the very beginning. The theme seems really cool tho. Also, I would recommend making the player open it in fullscreen, I can't see the whole screen and some of it is covered by "Rate this game", etc.
